Metro Tile Inc

After Joe came out to look at the shower that I needed tiled, he asked me to give him a couple days and he would let me know about the price. That was a month ago. I called him for 4 days in a row, left messages and he never called back. Not even to tell me he didn't want to do the job. I guess I should have seen this coming, since the day of the estimate appointment I had to remind him to come over. He would have forgotten that too. Extremely unprofessional!

Joe was accessible and his crew was on time each day. Our small bathroom took 5 days to complete. I highly recommend Metro Tile. I will use the again for my other bathroom.

Joe Garcia and his crew worked professionally, were prompt and very skilled. They removed the old tile and fixtures, removed a wall, and did a perfect job installing new wall and floor tiles. They even carried my new cast iron bath tub upstairs! Huge wonderful job.

I had a couple of different people throughout the process and the owner of Metro Tile was here to basically introduce them to me and was here when they came to my house. I had somebody that had to do some drywall and he was here to introduce him to me and tell me what he was going to be doing. I really appreciated the fact that there weren't just people showing up at my house and he met them here and I knew who was coming and when they would be there, so it was definitely great communication.

The start of our work was just before July 4, so there was some down time for the holiday. But other than this slow start, the job went very smoothly. The workers were skilled, professional, courteous, and neat. Joe was good a communicating most things during the work process, so we knew what was happening and could check in throughout the process. The glass blocks turned out to be a more difficult job than expected, but the results were great. We found a crack in the cultured marble tub face during the job. It seems to have happened when the previous owner had the house replumbed, which required a dismantling of the tub. Joe installed some additional base tiles to cover up the crack for no additional charge. The glass blocks in the exterior wall required some repair to the stucco outside. Joe even fixed that returned after it cured to repaint it.
I didn't ask for plans or drawings for this job, because I am comfortable with discussions and problem-solving as the job progresses. This may not be everyone's style, so I can't review this aspect of Joe's tile design. I preferred devising our plan as we went, because my vision was not cookie-cutter. I'm thrilled with the results.

Before Metro came out, there were a lot of issues that I was worried about; leaks, fitting different size items in the bathroom, making it look very nice for not a lot of money. I had several other estimates and Jose with Metro worked with me to find a how much I wanted to get done to keep the price down, fit everything in perfectly, and made it look amazing. So for few thousand dollars, we went from unusable gross bathroom to a "WOW" bathroom! We are very happy with the work.

Metro Tile does very good work. He came out and did exactly what he said he would do. He got the job done exactly when he said it would be done. They were recommended to me by my insurance agent.

When I made the initial call for him to come out and give me an estimate, he called me back right away. He also was prompt when he came out to look at the bathrooms. He said he would email me the estimate in about one week. I didn't receive anything so I called and left a message on his voice mail. Still nothing.

JOE WAS REFERED TO ME AFTER I CANCELED ANOTHER CONTRACTOR FOR DELAYS AND PRICE INCREASES. JOE DID A WONDERFUL JOB. HE ALWAYS HAD SOMEONE WORKING ON THE JOB AND WAS ON SITE ALMOST EVERY DAY TO INSURE SATISFACTION. HE WAS EASY TO CONTACT AND ALWAYS KEPT ME INFORMED OF THE PROGRESS. HIS PRICE WAS ALMOST HALF THE OTHER LARGER CONTRACTOR WAS EXPECTING.
