Master Concrete Coating LLC

We met Rob Ritchie, owner of Master Coatings at the Big Top Flea Market, near the intersection of I-75 and Fowler Ave in North Tampa. He has a permanent display of his faux stone floors suitable for patios, pool decks, driveways, garage floors, etc. We had been looking for a way to upgrade our 500 sf screened porch with stained concrete floor and became interested in stamped decorative cement coatings. Rob has been doing this work for 30 years and is an expert on creating faux stone coatings that look like the real thing. Rob came to our home with his portfolio and gave us an estimate on the job that was significantly lower than the competition. We chose out color, style and pattern and made an appointment to get started. Rob and his assistant showed up on time and prepared to get the job done. They emptied the patio, thoroughly cleaned it, acid etched, ground the concrete for better adhesion and put down a sealer base coat on day one. Day two, they put down the "grout" coat, taped the pattern, then laid down the raised and stamped faux stone layer. I was amazed at how natural the end result was. Finally they stained, antiqued and sealed the entire floor with 3 coats of waterproof clear sealer. The floor is amazing! It looks like big varied blocks of real stone, with a variety of patterns and shades with beautiful color, depth and variety, just like the real thing. We are thrilled with the result and would recommend Rob to anyone interested in resurfacing their porch, driveway, pool deck or whatever.
