Marvic Aluminum

Marvic aluminum did an awesome job with my patio. They were very quick to respond for an estimate and process.

We paid them for a patio room that doesn't leak, and it continues to leak where the screen room meets the house. If you buy a screen room from them, expect this to happen. What's worse is that if you try and tell them about a problem after completion, they will flat out ignore you, and hope you go away, which is the worst type of company. They will be very eager to take your money in the beginning, though. Find another contractor for your patio room.

The initial installation seemed to be fine. I was pleased at first, as the job was completed as I expected. However, several months later, rains came. And when it rained, water was leaking and dripping down off the bottom of the ceiling fans in the middle of the screened porch. I called and left several messages. I NEVER heard back. Not once. We had to trick them by calling from a different number and saying "we have a question about a screened porch". When they called us back, we explained the problem and they did find a time to come back and "fix it". Of course, weeks later it rained again and it leaked just as much. In fact, now both ceiling fans have water dripping down from them when it rains. I've called numerous times and never heard back. The work was obviously done poorly, as there are TWO leaks. The fact that they NEVER respond to calls or messages says everything you need to know. I would not recommend that anyone work with this company for any reason. Their business practices are exactly what you hope to avoid.

Good response to begin with. The price was very competetive, but 1 18 months later we found that he skipped steps to ensure quality. The screen on top of the case is supposed to be 1 piece per square frame. They wrapped one end all the way to the other, which makes the screen less sturdy. Am paying to have it fixed and done right.

We are very pleased with our screened in porch. We researched a lot of contractors in the Tampa area. Marvic is the ONLY contractor that offers a five year warranty on their "screened in" porches. They did a beautiful job and every request we've made -- they have been responsive and efficient.

Ernest kept to the schedule for the most part.  There were some delays but most were related to rain.  Overall, the experience was good.

Two men showed up and started putting up the screen without announcing their presence.  The worker explained that everything will be done and not knowing the process of how it works I left it for them to work on it.  I had to leave the house for prior commitment but the screening was in the back so I did not need to be present.  When I told them that I was leaving, one of the worker asked for the payment which I gave.  After returning, everything seemed to be done and premise was clear, but upon checking the work, we've discovered holes in one of the screen doors where the door handle was placed (probably they wrongly drilled the first time).  There are other places where the aluminum frames were cut short and sealants were not neatly finished.  I've called Ernest several times and left messages but to this date, have not heard from anyone from the company.  The company is supposed to have a 5 year warranty, but I'm afraid that does not mean anything if they can't even fix the installation problem.  Needless to say, we are not pleased with the workmanship and the responsiveness.  We will not recommend this company to others.

He was prompt on his response, pleasant, efficient in his process, and provided an estimate in writing with specifics.  I did not use him, but had several estimates and just decided to go with one of the others.  There was nothing adverse about him or his process.  His price was in line with others.   I would call again.
