Mr. Machado was great. He understood what I needed, made helpful suggestions, had great ideas. I re-worked his schedule to accomodate my time restrictments. All work was done as specified in the contract. Clean-up was thorough. I asked for the resulting mulch and he assented.

Beautiful job! We've used M & M several times and will continue to do so. Always reasonable in price, punctual, informative, quality work. We very much appreciate their service.

Mike and his team did a fantastic job!  I was concerned about potential damage to the pool cage due to the complexity of removing the tree limbs; they completed the job with no damage, in less time than anticipated and all with a professional, positive attitude.

Very punctual and professional on the front end but we were very dissatisfied on completion.
During the consultation Marti promised after the tree was removed the stump would be ground down and the debris removed in order to place sod at the location. After letting the area settle for a few weeks we hired landscapers to come in to do the sod work. Their attempt to prepare the area was halted after an hour due to large roots from the tree remaining at or just below the surface. Clearly the stump and roots were not ground far enough down to accommodate a level result with the sod matching the surrounding grass.
I contacted Mand M and Marti came out the next day. He called the sod people and quot;sissysand quot; and said he could clear it in a few minutes. I watched as he went around the perimeter with a shovel. He ran into significant roots at the surface and used an axe in one area. As we spoke about how to lay 3-4and quot; sod in the area he remained very defensive and suggested we should use sod with less dirt. I'm not a sod expert but his demeanor through this process was very unsettling and VERY different from the original consultation appointment.
I told him we would have to do it ourselves or hire someone (at our expense) to complete the job of removing the roots. He said nothing, got in his truck and drove away, then returned to take pictures, and left again.
I would not use or recommend this company again.

Company called to provide an estimate. Representative of the company arrived on time on the specified date.
Workers arrived on schedule to perform the tree removal and tree trimming. All work was completed in a satisfactory manner and the property was left very clean. The stumps were removed on the very next business day. I've used this company to trim my trees for about 20 years, and I'm always happy with the tree trimming, and with the professionalism and knowledge of the owners and their workers.

Once again a beautiful job, as we've had Mand M's service before. Reasonable prices, excellent clean up, punctual, personable and professional. Best palm knowledge we've come acquainted with. Equipment top notch, fully licensed and insured - important. We think we've found the best people when it comes to trimming all of our tress and especially our palms.

Spoke with Mand M via phone and arranged an onsite estimate within a few days. The representative arrived promptly, was very personable and shared several thoughts and ideas with me about the property. An estimate was provided the same day and I was not pressured to sign on the dotted line - the rep even encouraged me to take my time to review the estimate. A few days later, I requested the work be completed and was given a schedule. The team arrived when promised and did an excellent job. The initial tree removal was professionally completed and the team cleaned up all debris from the site. Shortly thereafter the stumps were removed. I was not at home when the stump grinding was completed, but was very impressed that whomever did the work made the effort to drive the equipment around (rather than over) my new septic drain field. M and M is a great company and will definitely use them for all of my future tree needs.

They were just on time and their service was excellent and they were very clean.

Mike arrived on time to give the estimate, he was professional and knowledgable. When the crew arrived, on time, they were efficient, professional and took care to make sure that not only our yard was cleaned up after the work was completed, but our neighbors and street as well. We could not be happier with the way the tree looks and the peace of mind knowing this great tree isn't posing a threat to our home during storms.

He is very knowledgeable. The price is good. The issue is that he is located in another city and waits till he has more business in my area to come to my city.

They showed up on time, with 4 men, and really worked hard to perform the necessary work.

Response to my request for an estimate was very fast and professional. The estimator was right ontime and was professional, friendly and knowledgable. I received a call that he was on his way and he wore a clean, easily identifiable uniform which is really appreciated. The estimate was $725.00 for trimming up two huge (over 50 foot) oak trees that had never been trimmed before. The crew called when they were almost there, they were on time, and all were courteous and professional.

My trees look fantastic (not scalped) and I appreciated how they took pains to trim the trees in a way to maintain their health and also to retain as much shade for my home as possible. My yard was left so clean, the only evidence of the job left on the ground was a little sawdust.

It has been over a month since the job was done and today a large branch broke and was hanging in my driveway blocking in my vehicle. It was till attached to the tree and would not budge. I called the office and a truck was at my door in less than two hours - they took care of the mess and took the time to show me the hole that a woodpecker (presumably) had drilled in the branch. It was clear that this was not something that they would have been able to detect when they were here for the trimming. Again, not a twig was left on my lawn when they left and they did not present me with a bill.

I would definitely reccommend this company and will use them to maintain the health of my trees in the future.

They did a good work and it was competently done. They didn’t destroy anything. They were punctual and were professional and knowledgeable.

The service went extremely well. They know what they are doing.

Mike came on time to give me an estimate. It was very close to the other estimate that I got and since both were from certified arborists with good reputations, it was hard to choose between the two. I finally decided to go with Mand M. They were scheduled to come at 1130 the following Wednesday to do the work, but showed up at 8 in the morning. It would have been nice if they had called first about the time change but fortunately it didn’t present a problem for me. They had a lot of heavy equipment, which they parked on the street and not in our driveway. It took the 4 man crew until 1130 to complete the job-there was a lot of Spanish moss and dead branches. In addition, some branches overhanging the house and pool cage were to be cut back. They did everything requested and did a very good job of cleaning up afterwards. I had a bush that didn’t survive the winter that I was taking out and it was too thick for my saw. The crew even cut off the stump for me and didn’t charge any extra, which was nice. The trees looked great when they were done and I told the crew that. The only down side was the crew then suggested that a tip might be nice, which I didn’t appreciate. Other than that, they did a super job and left my yard looking great.

I have used them off and on for the last two years. They trimmed all of the trees on my property. I have an acre of property. They were very careful. They took everything away. They don't trim anything to short. It is a nice level. They trim everything the same. It is very pretty.

Mike arrived as scheduled for estimate. He examined what we wanted done and made suggestions for which trees should go and which were good trees. He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained why the cost was higher than other companies. The work was scheduled any they showed up promptly at the agreed upon time and day. Mike was not present. His brother Marti came out along with the crew. Unfortunately, I was not able to be present and my roommate was there to handle the directions. They worked quickly and safely and my roommate added on some additional work for an additional $300. The work was completed quickly. When I inspected the work and asked some questions about why things were done or not done, my roommate said she tried to explain some things to Marti but felt like he was in a hurry. She had though, signed the invoice that the work had been done. I was unhappy with the way the potocarpus had been trimmed-although it is away from the house, it looks extremely chopped up and not pleasing: a couple of trees she felt that they had agreed were to be trimmed were not. The stump of the cherry laurel tree, which was to be cut flat, was not flat and a line of trees along the side of the house were not trimmed and she said she had not felt like she was able to explain to Marti exactly what she wanted. In the end I called Mike and he said he would fix the cherry laurel and picked up some trimmings that were left but advised that we had not asked that the potocarpus be shaped so it was just cut away from the house and that he could shape it, but it would be an extra $150.00 and that he could trim the hedge of cherry laurels but that would be an extra $125.00. I decided to forgo that and he agreed to come back later in the week and cut the cherry laurel stump flat. About 10 days later, he called and said we had slipped through the cracks. By that time I had paid the lawn man $45.00 to cut the stump flat.

They where very friendly when they where there working for me. They where very professional about the job. They always show up on time to do the work.

Their service from estimate to completion was excellent! Both Mike and Marti are certified arborists and they have a genuine concern for preserving the beauty and health of the trees as well as providing useful advice on maintaining a healthier environment for the trees and your yard. Their entire staff was courteous and professional. They arrived on time, worked steadily until the job was done and did a thorough job of cleaning up when they were finished. Although there were many large branches that needed to be put in the wood chipper, they even swept the street when they were done. Overall we're very pleased with M and M. We'll definitely use them again.
