Alex and crew did a terrific job. While I selected the glass tile, they arranged for almost everything else. They used high quality materials and paid attention to details. My new kitchen backsplash looks great. This was a difficult job as there were cabinet valances and many electric plug openings plus a large opening to another room that had to be dealt with by framing it carefully with the tile all around. During installation I was unhappy with one aspect of the work. They examined the problem and without hesitation said they would do what it takes to make it right. In this day and age that is a rare thing. They did this work for a fair price. While some underbid them, you get what you pay for. Would I use them for my tile or flooring future needs yes, I would.

I am so impressed with Lipsky and Son. Nathan came to assess our job and was knowledgeable and honest about the difficulties involved with the tile we wanted to use. He was prompt, friendly and professional in his demeanor. He returned phone calls and produced an estimate very quickly, which was helpful for us with an urgent time frame. Alex was the Site supervisor who was the most professional of any vendors we have dealt with, and the list is long. He was completely courteous and dedicated to doing the job right. He consistently came to assess the work as it was progressing, and insisted on corrections that would perfect the final result. He made sure to follow-up to get approval from me on the phases of this job, and has proven to be a problem solver, as this small job presented several challenges (tiling a recessed bathroom nitch and fixing the damaged wall around it). I appreciated Alex’s philosophy: “it’s not a problem, it’s a situation. And we find solutions to situations- that’s what we do. And we work until we get it right.” Wow I am so grateful that we found Lipsky & Son, or that they found us through our inquiry with Angi. After the tile was installed beautifully and the wall around it smoothed and painted, I revealed to Alex that his was the 4th attempt we made at getting this job done right. Lipsky & Son won the prize! We would highly recommend them and would readily hire them again! Thanks Nathan and Alex, and thanks to the artisans Fabrizio and Fernando-On Day One, they worked all day with a wet saw cutting and installing these fancy glass tiles. At the end of the day, they decided they needed to tear it out and redo it to get it done perfectly. Wow again! I really appreciated their dedication to a job well-done! They did excellent work. However. Nathan, who is part owner, is not good at responding to questions/texts. To this day, I never receved an invoice showing that I paid for the work performed.

Fantastic from start to finish. I would give Lipsky & Sons 10 stars if I could. Price was right. He kept to the schedule and it looked even better than i could have imagined. Nathan was patient with countless questions and exceeded all expectations in every way. Nathan replaced all of the flooring with tile in our 2400 sq foot house and remodeled our laundry room all while we were out of town. I highly recommend them.

Did a nice job with the different batches of Vinyl floor planks I had, they blended them nicely and hid the real light colored planks in the closets. They also cleaned up 100% of the scraps and blew off the saw dust to the point you could not tell they were there! Only knock is that I wanted "Z" bar finish at the carpet instead of laying a vinyl strip and they did not understand what I was talking about. I went to Lowes and bought what I needed (Z Bar and tack strip) and put it down myself. No big deal, but that was the finish I wanted.

We were extremely impressed and pleased with both the work and professionalism of Nathan and Alex. Both are hardworking and quality individuals. I would highly recommend them for anyone considering floor installation work. High quality and reasonably priced. Their cost was almost half what several other contractors provided me as estimates for the same job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
