Let Linda Locate

I had been stumped finding out where my great grandfather had been born. Linda was able to find it. In researching my family Linda found that my grandfather had a sister I had never heard mentioned. Linda put me in touch with a granddaughter of my grandfather's sister. We have emailed and talked which has been a lot of fun. Linda also went over the hours I had contracted with her which was very generous. She kept in contact during her search to keep me up to date. At the end I had a report of 192 pages! If you are stumped or don't know where to start, I would recommend Linda. Linda is quick to respond, asks questions and keeps one posted on her search.

Linda was BEYOND amazing! When I first contacted her with an overwhelmingly large task and little time to perform it, she never wavered. Linda was receptive and honest from the start about the depths of information she could potentially find and how that could impact my deadline. She gave me small updates, but only regarding timing issues, as I was probably overly concerned about my deadline!! While I retained her service to be able to present this genealogy gift to my Mother, she made it SO MUCH fun for me, as I was beyond intrigued on day one after our first communication! She was ALWAYS responsive to any question I had and ALWAYS conscious of the approaching date on which I needed to have the project completed. Once we received over 200 pages of genealogical information, I literally cried reading through it with fascination as I turned each page! Like I said, Lunda didn't just help me facilitate a gift for my Mother; it because quite the gift to myself in the end. The pages were beyond easy to read, the genealogical "line" was easy for us to follow, the MANY documents with my ancestors signatures that she included in chronological order as a part of the report were a TRUE GIFT. And, one of the best things was reading through the lines to see Linda's own excitement when she was able to link siblings, cousins, professions, etc., together with an immense amount of detective work on her part. My family is beyond fortunate to now have a better understanding of our ancestry, thanks to Linda's capable work. In fact, on the day we presented the gift to our mother, she literally cried as she read it, since it explained so much to her about her own parents humble beginnings. I would not hesitate one second to request that Linda begin a similar journey for you or your family...not one second. She will not disappoint. Linda emailed me back in a couple hours. She did her own online research to try to help me locate the linage of the crest or coat of arms I was looking for. She did not have anybody she could refer me to that does family crest or Coat of Arms research. But she did provide me with some Facebook contacts in the country & region I was looking for that I could reach out to for some assistance possibly.

I contacted the provider regarding a desire for broad genealogical research. I had done research on my own, but struggled to find details beyond some very basic information. The write-ups themselves must have taken hours, let alone the actual research. My project involved multiple family lines, each from a different part of the world, spanning several hundred years. Linda did not hesitate, nor question my sanity. She simply got to work and gave me back tomes of information. I was so satisfied with her results that I doubled down and asked for to perform another round of research, which she again performed quickly and effectively. Overall, Linda's communication and professionalism were truly outstanding. She is clearly dedicated to her work and has a passion for helping people. The results she produced were above and beyond any expectations I had.

I know I'm going to sound like a friend or relative, but, honestly, I located Linda through Angie's List. Since I was new to both Angie's List and genealogy, we agreed on a small project to start, if I remember right, it was ten hours. Her rates were competitive and I later learned that she didn't even charge for all her time. She communicated regularly, she's a "bulldog" doing research and she brought me along at my own speed understanding genealogy. Her reports are first class, interesting and amusing. She also gave me tips so that I could do my own research where and if I wanted. I intend to continue using her to "mine" the fields of my family history. All in all, you couldn't do any better than hiring Linda for your genealogical research.

I was pleased with the end result. It took a very long time as we were on a waiting list - but that's how popular she is. She was always very responsive to emails and produced a very extensive report for us.

Linda was very helpful and sensitive. I ended up using an adoption assistance office to attempt contact. The people at this office were amazed at the details Linda's report provided. The info. was so complete, I was amazed. Printed, at my request and mailed to me.She was warm an friendly. It sounded like she was having as much fun as I was. Her print out was in a note book with each sheet encased in a plastic sleeve, very professional. I would highly recommend her.

I was simply AMAZED at Linda's thoroughness, care, and creativity. It well exceeded my expectations. She didn't just throw a lot of names & phone numbers at me, but truly engaged, giving me her thoughts and perspectives. Doing this research was something I had thought of doing myself, but after looking at what she delivered, I now realize that: - It would have taken me WAY longer (i.e., it would never have gotten done...) - There's no way it would have been as comprehensive as what Linda produced. Recently, I retained " Let Linda Locate" for her services. I was absolutely amazed and stunned at the amount of information she compiled, in such a short period of time. The only thing more impressive, than the actual information itself, was the format in which she provided that information. I knew the search for my mother would probably be futile, since it is likely that she is no longer using her maiden name - and that is all the information I could provide. While Linda was not able to locate her, she explored every possible avenue and provided me with a 17-page detailed report of her activities and findings. Linda was reasonably priced, her info was okay and she sent a 35 page report with some good tips on locating the missing relative. Unfortunately, we have not found her yet.

Her excellent report laid to rest the family legend that we were related to Sir William Pitt. The results of her study have been forwarded to a brother in Nashville and to another in Europe. I emailed Linda almost 3 months ago. Before I went ahead and hired her I had many questions. Those included specific cost, type of report, depth and scope of research. She responded right away to all my questions. Both my husband and I have been hunting around for our lineage and decided we needed an expert. We agreed that I would have mine done first then my husband. I sent her all the information I had gathered through the years. Mostly just bits and pieces and vague dates and some names as well as a deposit for both my husband and me. She started right away and explained it is "like sorting through a mountain of unopened oyster shells looking for the pearls". I am looking forward to getting my father's side information. I've shared these reports with my siblings and cousins. They, too, are amazed at the information she was able to glean. Finally, I love the fact that if at a later date, I want her to resume her research, she is happy to start where she left off!

My grandfather disappeared roughly 85 years ago and I asked Linda to try to locate him. Unfortunately there was very little evidence to go on and the search didn't yield any results but I feel that Linda did the best she could with the raw material she had to work with. I would use her again if the need presented itself.

I commissioned Linda to research genealogy on my paternal side of the family. I had not been able to find any information about my great grandfather and was eager to find out more about him. I was at the proverbial brick wall that so many of us come to when researching our families, and decided to hire Linda to help. Not only was Linda a pleasure to work with but she was quick to respond to my request, and kept me in the loop during her research. It took about 3 months to receive her report, and WOW, I was impressed! She not only provided the information that I needed, but also traced my 3x great grandmother's line, having arrived 6 months before the Mayflower! Ezcellent service. Kept me informed of details prior to final report. Found boyfriend to have current wife he neglected to tell.me about. Suspected he had somebody due to lack of weekend visits and not forthcoming about family. Very evasive even about his birthday.
