They are fabulous, reasonable prize, you can't identify that there's a problem base on their work.

Pete quickly came out and was able to track down the leak, even though it was small and tricky to find. He also had a trainee with him and he took the time to go over proper procedures and so on, Glad to see that not only did he do a great job, that he's a very nice guy and would probably be a good boss.

Had water coming out of a wall, and called my normal plumbers, who recommended contacting Pete.   (They pointed out that their folks would have to cut wholes to find the leak, etc).
Pete said he could get me in next day, but try to squeeze me in today -- and ended up getting here around 1pm which was awesome.
He quickly saw what I missed -- another pipe from the AC that wasn't capped, and was dripping.. the condensation line was blocked.   He blew it out, vacuumed it up, and all is good.   I'm going to get my AC folks out to service the AC, but he fixed things up to stop the leak and the AC is happy...  !
Very cool to deal with, charged just the service call since it was fairly straight forward, etc... while I hope I'm not in need of a leak detector for the future, if I am, I'm calling Pete back w/o a question.

We had water intermittently in the corner of our garage. Our plumber thought he had found the leak; pulled the hot water heater, dug up the foundation and found a pipe but no leak. We repaired the foundation, replaced the hot water heater and water came back again. Pete Walters of Leak Tracker came twice to find the source of the water. He could not find it during his first visit and we were not charged. He left his card and we contacted him again several days later. He was then able to identify the leak so that we could make necessary repairs. Personable, professional service.

We called a plumber who recommended we hire Leak Tracker to track down the leak. We had to manage the repairs from Chicago. All went perfectly well, except that the pesky leak was hard to find. But 2 hours into it, it was found. Leak Tracker gave all the information to the plumber to fix it and all of the drama was over shortly. Leak Tracker was really reassuring and did not take advantage of the fact that we weren't there to keep an eye on them.

|I would definitely recommend them.

Pete got here quick -- however, it didn't take him that long to find the leaks and spray the lawn with his can of spray paint. But he did have to use the acoustic equipment to find the 2 leaks. Maybe that's why it was so expensive @ $250.00. I was expecting a bill at about $150.00-$175.00. At least it was found and we could get our plumber back out and fix it fast.
Pete is friendly and personable and really knows his stuff. I would recommend him to anyone who has leaks on their property.

I was referred to provider by Schlemann's plumbing. Provider was very courteous and able to see us the next day. He fully explained the three possible scenarios, pricing for each scenario and possible outcomes/expectations. We fully understood that if leak was under the foundation, dependent on location he may not be able to access pipes and alternate route would need to be pursued. Leak was detected under foundation and he was able to access the pipe and place temporary fix (he detects leaks and provides temporary fix but actual repair must be performed by plumber). Minimal damage to floors and mess was minimized. Extremely happy with his efforts to detect leak considering the location (it was in bathroom and extremely close to shower stall). Will use service again in the future!

Excellent advice, very open and honest about pricing and the possibilities of what might be the root cause of the leak situation.

I called Leak Tracker to find a potential leak in my home. My water bill had been 50% higher. We did not hear any water running in the house, so called Peter Walters at Leak Tracker. Pete quoted me a price of $99 if he detected leaks above the slab; i.e. hot water heater, toilet etc. and a price of $250 if he found a leak below the slab. Without knowing the details, I imagine that he first eliminates the obvious above the slab targets, but below slab leaks require more work and more expensive equipment. I actually found Leak Tracker by word of mouth from another plumber on Angies List, who did not have the proper equipment to detect leaks, but recommended Pete highly. Pete answered his own phone, asked me a few simple questions, like what made me think I had a leak and what actions I had performed. He made a 9AM appointment for the next day and called me when he was going to be 5 minutes late because of traffic. He was friendly and after describing briefly what he'd check, went right to work and within 20 minutes determined that my toilets were giving an ever so slight leak into the overflow tube. Since it wasn't enough to hear, it alluded me, but Pete gave me quick reassurance that my problem wasn't serious.
