"My apologies for not contacting you. We had a $600 piece of equipment stolen off our trailer that morning and the rest of the day was shot trying to track it down and catch back up with that days work. You never had a set appointment, i mentioned I would leave an estimate on your door and if your husband was home we could check the irrigation at that time. I love how on this site it is so easy to bypass any circumstances that could prevent an A-C rated company that normally has excellent reviews to show up on time and the initial reaction is to hop on here and bad mouth the company.. We are one of very few reliable, easy to contact and quality companies in the area. There are justifiable reason to review companies that actually do bad work and are completely irresponsible. The fact that most ppl just ASSUME its the company and hurry to write a negative review is asinine. We work diligently to satisfy all of our clients, current and potential. However we are not perfect, we do make mistakes and we try to fix them at every turn. Again My apologies that i did not contact you to let you know i was chasing down thieves for a portion of the day. Also that by the end of the day I had forgotten about your Estimate. After review your location now, we do not even service your area for lawn care and i would only be referring you to someone in your area... Thank you for your patience and understanding."
Price was about what I expected to pay and their team completed the requested work in an efficient manner.
Clean up and haul away was included in the price.
I was very pleased with how well this engagement went and would not hesitate to recommend this service provider.
Within 7 months our rates went from $90 to $95/month. A little steep for a small job like ours, but we thought they were worth it. However, as time went on they seemed more interested in ?mow and go? than actually taking care of our property, especially since most visits lasted about five minutes. (Yes, I actually timed it!)
Other issues:
- we didn?t find out about problems until weeks later when we actually happened to be out walking the property (broken sprinkler heads, erosion, bare spots caused by constantly riding the mower quickly over the same areas).
- large grass-less border around the flowerbeds that just keep getting wider every time they do the property
- long stretches between weedings (we only have a single bird of paradise plant & river rock in the flower beds).
- blowing leaves or debris in the street back onto our property.
Also, they are very slow to answer emails or telephone calls, sometimes requiring multiple contacts before responding.
"Clients or Future Clients, In 2010 we added a surcharge for fuel due to the astronomical gas prices. It was only for current clients at the time. We have a threshold built in that will remove that charge when gas prices reach $3.00. We also have never increased prices to reflect inflation. We try to offer a quality product at a reasonable prices, always. In our 12 years we have only raised rates twice. While all of our costs go up each year. To remain profitable in this industry we must be incredibly efficient. We are sending 4 men to your house, each having a specific roll. If you times those four men by the mentioned 5 mins, we are actually at the property for 20 mins in man hour terms. We work 50 weeks out of the year equating to 10hr on this specific property. Paying roughly 22-23 dollars per visit is not steep under any circumstances. Sprinklers are buried underground. Yes, sometimes they are broken. Most times because of their location we do not know they are broken until the system runs or the client notices. At that time we will fix or repair any and all issues at no cost to our clients. Which I have done personally for this client, in an expedited fashion! Because this is a small property there are only so many directions you can run the mower. And we are constantly changing patters to avoid rutting in the lawns. Here at Lawn Enforcement we pride ourselves on leaving your street cleaner then when we arrived. You see some companies blowing debris in the middle of the street, on to other neighbors property. We do not do that. We blow your grass clippings, which are fine due to our recycler kits, back into your lawn. We also have heavy duty bags as to dispose all accumulated leaves. Our winter/fall clean up is the best bar none. Blowing out each lawn of leaves. As far as our response time for emails or calls. It is rare that we miss or do not respond to an email. On the rare occasion it does happen. But I have threads and threads of email communication between this client and I. With EVERY issue addressed, timely. Also with compliments with our response time and attentiveness. I have even taken the time for this specific client to evaluate some erosion issues they had due to a neighbors drainage issues(free), I took the time to write a letter stating what my opinion was as to alleviate the neighbors concerns that the problem was from my clients property. I have also promptly fixed and adjusted all irrigation issues only charging them for parts when it was not an issue caused by us. We strive everyday to provide you with a quality product at a reasonable price. We are constantly striving to better ourselves and take each complaint seriously. Using any feedback to adjust and make our business better for our clients, employees and image. Thank You Christopher Locascio"
If you are happy with your lawn guy, by all means keep them. But if you're thinking about changing services, Call Chris at 813-355-6065. His company is one that goes above and beyond! His employees really do take pride in their work! And his prices are fair - you definitely get more than you pay for with this company.
"Thank You for being a loyal client. With all the choices for service providers we are grateful for your continued patronage."
This company is a joke, I'm not sure how anyone could rate them higher than an F.
"We apologize for any confusion. We have researched our emails and only find a request for estimate. Yes the estimate was given, but as stated by the client, service was never started. Here at Lawn Enforcement we have processes to ensure that the clients that signs up for service confirm via email. We do not require contracts so there is a need for some kind of permission and paper trail to prove we can access the property, verification of service level and price. This is our protection process for both the client and us. We have had issues in the past where clients would sign up verbally and refuse to pay or argue their price. This process/policy that might be exclusive to our company is one we require. As mentioned, we researched our server for a confirmation email from this client and found nothing."
On the plus side, the two kids who did the actual work were very thorough and did a great job.
"We would like to state the facts of the situation, since perception is not always reality. The member hired us the week of 13th(second week into July) She was informed that she would be added to our schedule for the following week. Monday is the normal day for her neighborhood. Although she is correct, we forgot to add her to the crews run report, she is mistake about when it got done. It was done THAT Monday afternoon, not a week later. It was done that day! Our Platinum service does include the items the member is complaining were not done, and once again she is correct, her four topiaries were not trimmed. The items in our Platinum service are to be completed on a monthly basis. The crews are instructed to work their way around the house week by week, always trimming hedges, palms or weeding. This keep everything trimmed on a monthly basis and keeps the crews moving. Please note that the member was only a client for three weeks, All three of these weeks have been inundated with rain. Feel free to look at the rainfall for zip 33543 During July 2011. With a service that is directly impacted by mother nature, we at times have to make logical choices.. When the weather is not in our favor we must get everyones lawn cut with the extras taking a back seat for a brief period. Most of our 400+ clients understand this and appreciate our efforts to keep their lawn cut during the hight of the season… both growing and raining. With that being said, the member is correct that her topiaries were not trimmed, and this could have easily been addressed on her next scheduled service. We were never given the chance to correct the problem. Please understand, When the member called on Tuesday morning 8:15 the first words out of her mouth were "I need to Cancel my service" . At that moment I asked her what the problems were and researched her account. I am not in the business of mind reading nor do I like to play mind games. My goal is to please the customer, when her answers were very short and direct, coupled by the intro statement my goal was to research her issue, confirm her service level in our system, to make sure there was not a mistake. My follow up was to check her complaint later that afternoon so that I could address any issues with my crew so that the situation would not happen again. If the member's goal was to get the bushes trimmed and be appeased, would she have asked for the issues be addressed, or would she have asked to cancel her service? I am happy to give contacts for any of our 400+ clients that we appease daily. If given the opportunity member, you would have been appeased. Maybe it is how you started your conversation which led me to believe that I was appeasing you by doing what you asked me to do…"
