I ordered a chair and paid for delivery.  When it came time to deliver I was told I couldn't specify a time, morning or afternoon, that I would be told the day before when it would arrive and I had to "be flexible".   I actually talked to the manager Rick who was not helpful, but arrogant when I explained that my job did not allow me that kind of flexibility.   He suggested that I come pick it up myself.    He gave me his bosses number,  Nick Ciago and when I called it was his mail box was full.  I'm a single parent, I work full time, and have 3 children under 16.   Having to set aside a whole day to get a piece of furniture delivered is not an option for me.  I will never buy a furniture from Lazy Boy again, not customer focused at all - and their attitudes were really the deal breaker for me.  Nice when I bought it, and then you are at their mercy.

SIX MONTHS WITH NO RESOLVE!!
July 31, 2013 we purchased $12,000 of furniture for our remodeled home from Lazy Boy Galleries on Hwy 60/Faulkenburg Brandon area. The order was to be delivered within 8-10 weeks. The order had to be paid in full before delivery.  After multiple phone calls and visits to the showroom we received a delivery on Nov 14 (16weeks). The delivery crew set up our Leather sectional with several two inch gaps between sections. The Right arm is broken, The love seat section has four inch gaps at lumbar area rendering NO back support, Left arm recliner back leans to the left creating a 2" gap. One of the Ottomans was destroyed in shipping and wasn't delivered. The Leather recliner would not stay in upright position. One of the area rugs has broken backing in several places and will not lay flat on floor which creates a trip hazard. (23 days after delivery)Service manager, Brian was the second service member to attempt to make adjustments. After a conference call Brian had with the owner Grieger enterprises and Lazy Boy corporate he informed me he is authorized to repair only all of the mentioned pieces. No refund or return authorized. 
After several phone calls and visitation with the sales team, store manager, district manager, service manager and Lazy Boy corporate explaining I am NOT SATISFIED with paying NEW furniture prices for rebuilt furniture. the final answer is "There is nothing else we are doing for this case". I am totally disgusted with the overpriced and under delivered products/service of Lazy Boy Galleries. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with this poorly managed company.
