We purchased from the Largo location. We felt that the entire staff was very easy to work with, professional, and attentive to our particular needs. This was from Rey in the showroom and all the office staff; to Theo who took the final measurements, created the template and helped us lay out the final pieces to maximize the pattern of the granite; and to Jose and his partner of the installation crew. Theo took special care to match the backsplash pieces with the adjacent counter top design as seen in one image attached. The installers arrived on time to install the counter tops, backsplash and under mount sink (from KB.) Jose was a master for making the granite seam in the front center of the sink practically invisible. Jose and crew cleaned up the area of the kitchen and where they worked in the garage. The caulking applied between the wall and top of the backsplash and the joint of the backsplash to the counter top used just the correct amount. Both beads look perfect. A special sealer was applied that really made the design in the granite shiny and stand out as well as protect it. The price was better than some other installers we shopped. We would recommend KB and their staff without reservation. The plumber that came the next day to install the faucet said he has seen many granite installs and complemented KB on how well the backsplash and counter surface design matched.

Not as great an experience as I expected. Employees from sale , to install, and supervisor (where Rude, left a mess in vanity drawers(ruined mirror due to sealer handprints and debris left under vanity) supervisor contacted husband in important meeting after I had already spoke with girl in finance letting finance know I would call back with final amount within two hours, due to having another contractor in the home. he disturbed him anyway. No regard for women, as to dealing and working with.

From start to finish the service, value and quality were exceptional. Before we went to KB counter tops I corresponded with sales person Fantasy via email about products they had. When we went to KB all staff were helpful and courteous. The prices are unbeatable, we had previously looked elsewhere and found nothing compared to KB. We picked out which granite we liked, then a team member scheduled to come to our house to do exact measurements. (After they measure you have the choice to go back to KB and select where on the slab of granite you would like your piece to come from :) Soon after that we were scheduled for them to be installed. Mario and Jose did our install, they were professional, quick, and courteous. I have raved about our counter tops and the staff at KB to all my family, friends etc. I tell them this is the place you HAVE to go! :) The final price was around $800 for EVERYTHING...the granite, all serves, installation etc. Unbeatable!

This entire job was a fiasco.  The only easy part was when they took half my money at the beginning.  I picked out my granite after going to several different stores, I had measured out my old countertops (I was keeping the same plan, so it was easy), and paid half down.  They sent a man out to do a template, and he was quite nice.  After he gets back to the store, they decide that my measurements were off by around 20% and that upped the price!  I smelled a scam - I am a scientist by trade and I know how to use a ruler and do math!  But fine, I said.  I asked him to recheck and he came back with the same number (of course), and I went ahead and approved the work by emailing back.  A couple of weeks go by and finally I call to ask about the install.  I am then informed that the job was put on hold because I hadn't sent back that email and i was not on the schedule at all.  My outbox says it was replied to that day. So...they schedule to install the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  I also told him at this time that I wanted the 15 year protective coating that is supposed to be done at the factory.  Fine, he says.  Re-invoices me, but the total doesn't reflect all the money I put down on the first day - it's off by $150.  Says he'll adjust it.  I don't get a corrected invoice. The guy arrives late to install the counters and has a fit because the old counters are still on the cabinets.  Mind you, the old counters had been cut and taken off - we installed new cabinets earlier and these are simply placed on again so we can eat - so all you had to do was literally lift them off.  Quite the hullabaloo ensued, with KB calling me to tell me that it was going to cost another $140 for the guy to lift the counters off.  I refused, I have plenty of people here to do that if you want to be pissy about it.  As my boyfriend starts to unhook the plumbing ( a 5 minute job) he hears the installer talking to KB in Spanish.  I hear a lot of "gringa", and my boyfriend turned around more angry than I had ever seen him because the installer was apparently insulting me to the KB factory person in Spanish, thinking nobody here spoke the language.  My boyfriend was Venezuelan.  Discussion ensued and the installer insists he was talking about the admin back at KB, not me, however I am told given the context it was clearly me that was being insulted.  Either way, it was unprofessional.  While installing the counter tops they didn't fit. We had to move cabinets back, cutting floor tile, and cut into the wall in several places to make it fit.  I had an undermount sink to be installed as well.  He installs the sink and I ask if the protective coating was put on - he didn't know.  I call back to KB and they say they'll send someone out next day to do it.  OK - that's not what I thought should happen - the saleslady told me it had to be done at the factory.  Next day (the day before Thanksgiving) I take off from work to be there.  Noon arrives, no guy.  I call and ask about it and I get the distinct impression that he had forgotten when he tells me that someone will be out that afternoon to seal it.  Thinking ahead I ask him if this is a sealant that you maybe can't use the kitchen for 24 hours or so - he says yes.  I remind him that tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and why don't we push until Monday.  We agree.  I clean up the box from the undermount sink and realize that there is an unopened bag of clips in the box.  That can't be good.  I set the clips on the counter next to the sink, since I was sniffing trouble.  I go to my boyfriends house for the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, and when we arrive back Sunday guess what?  The sink has fallen!  I call early Monday morning to tell them that while they send someone out to seal the countertops, they better make sure he can fix a sink!  Don't worry - I have all the clips.
I have spoken both to the operations manager and the saleslady about this fiasco, so they are not blindsided by this review.  The granite pattern is nice, I was surprised while I was there that their people were moving huge slabs of granite wearing sandals with socks on and not steel toed shoes, and my friend who is a real estate agent tells me that the surface of the granite that is installed in my house is not as smooth as it should be.  They did give a discount for being on Angie's list (5%), and when I talked with the saleslady about all the issues she did drop the price a bit and asked why I hadn't called her, as well as finally give me the credit for that $150 that I paid that had not been reflected on the invoice.  I had, but went to voicemail.  I left a message but was not called back.
At every point where there was an opportunity to screw this up, they did.  The operations manager and I had a lengthy discussion on opportunities for improvement from this job.  They have a lot to learn about communication, coordination, business process, and courtesy.  I'm still a little angry about being insulted in my own house.

I went to many places in the area looking at granite and chose KB based on price and previous reviews.  I got my estimate and put down the deposit, and they called and scheduled the measurement and install very quickly.  On the day of install, two men arrived right on time and everything seemed to go well.  However, there was a rather large gap on either side of the stove, so I called the next day and sent pictures.  After 2 weeks of hearing nothing back, I finally called again and got the service managers name and number.  I called the next day and he came right out and fixed it.  However, just a few weeks later, one of my cabinets started to cave in at the drawers.  I had to call again.  He came right back out and fixed that, too.  I think he does a great job in repairing mistakes the installers cause.  I would have given more A's if the install had been better.  Also, the person who schedules didn't tell me to take things out of the cabinets, which I asked and he said no, I didn't need to do so.  The installers disagreed, so it was quite a mess trying to get things out.  I think they broke the cabinet a bit when they took off the old counter top and should have done more to fix it at the time.  The floor was quite a mess when they left as well.  Also, the dishwasher wasn't stabilized anymore, which they should have told me at the time so I could have had the plumber fix that when he came.

Talked to Thomas. He came to our home, addressed all our concerns, explained what would happen during installation, had photos, and excellent samples of the granite. The price he quoted was less than other quotes and included the installation of an under the counter stainless steel sink. The only items I had to purchase were the faucet and caulk to match the existing back splash. A template was made and the counter tops were ready within approximately 1-2 weeks. The installation crew was prompt, very courteous, and took care to keep the area as clean as possible during the demolition and the installation. Thomas returned a few days later to do a follow up. I would highly recommend this company and I will use them again if ever I have need of another quality granite installation.

The cabinet guy was very professional and great at his craft.  The guys that laid the tile and did the backsplash were not very professional, never on time, and you didn't know when or what days workers would show up to your house.

They estimated the work would take a week. The work took almost 3 full weeks for completion.

Installers were excellent.  Only complaint is the space left between countertops and peninsula.  It was 1.25 inches so we had to redo the wall to meet the counter.  This wasn't discussed in advance.

I usually don't write reviews but these folks really went out of there way to make everything perfect.? It is easy to succeed when everything goes perfectly operating your business.? The challenge is how you perform when things outside of your control occur.? In my case we had an issue with a cracked counter and subcontractors who did not show up as planned.? Nicole, Sid, and Amlan stepped in to correct the problem.? The sub contractors were to show up December 23rd and then the morning of the 24th (Christmas Eve).? When Nicole found out they were not coming, she contacted the owner and they brought their best installer off of vacation to get the job done.? Al and Amlan worked until 7pm Christmas Eve to make sure it was done and done perfectly!? That is truly a great company.? I only give them a B rating on one area due to the mishaps which can happen to anyone's business and an A Plus for the way they handled it and took care of the customer. Thank you very much, my kitchen is awesome, ?and I'll hire your company again.
