JIMMY'S SOD COMPANY

Called to order delivery of 500 sq ft of St. Augustine sod to my South Tampa home. I requested a call from the company the day of delivery to let me know that the driver was on his/her way. Request was fulfilled. Pallet of sod was delivered early in the day which was appreciated. Only a few pieces were visibly dying, i.e. greater than 50% brown. I laid the entire 500 sq ft on the same day as delivery and watered daily for 2-3 weeks. We did have our lawn service company spray the new sod with pesticides within a week. Unfortunately, we did have a major moth infestation shortly after. I do not know the source of this moth problem. We called our lawn service company and they came back out to spray the entire yard for moths.

They answer the phone right away. They are professional and obviously know what they are talking about! They came out the same day and gave an estimate. Paul and his team were friendly, kind and willing to spend the time to explain to us how to best take care of our lawn! The lawn looks great!

Excellent. I had not trouble and the newly placed sod looks great.

I was unhappy with the preparation of the ground before they laid the sod. In the past the people who laid sod for me always leveled the ground, Jimmy's did not. My one caution would be to make certain you understand fully what service you are paying for.

we used them years ago at our old house. I was interested in Zoysia and they answered all my questions. Not too many people sell it. I gave the price a B only because I can't give an A to that price no matter who sells it or what kind of grass it is, but they were cheaper than the others i called who had it.

It went fine. We followed their directions. The sod grew into our exisiting grass very well.

BUY THE SOD EARLY IN THE MORNING WHEN IT IS FRESH.
