My husband and I called Jan to request a showing of a home she had listed. We were immediately impressed with her responsiveness. We were able to see the house the next day. She was early ? we know because we are generally early. Although that home wasn?t the right fit for us, we asked her to help us view a couple of other homes we were also interested in (because we had called the listing agents on a few other homes and never received a call back). The house we put a contract on was a short sale. Jan was awesome throughout the entire process. She is very knowledgeable and answered all kinds of questions we had. She kept us in the loop constantly both with phone calls and emails about the status of the contract. The short sale lender was rather difficult to work with but Jan was a great advocate for us in working with the selling agent and lender. If you are looking for an experienced, caring, responsive, punctual real estate agent you will not be disappointed with Jan Dammer.

I've worked with Re/Max in the past with great results, so when I decided to buy a house here in Tampa I chose to use them again. After researching their local realtors, Jan Dammer seemed like my best option -- so I gave her a call and asked if she could show me a house that I'd seen listed. She cheerfully agreed to work with me and scheduled a time with the seller's realtor, and Jerry met me at the house the next day. We looked it over, and I decided that I wanted to make an offer. The seller could not possibly have been more unwilling to negotiate -- which was a shock, in this economy when most people would jump at any good offer. We considered the option dead and went on to look at other houses over the next few weeks. They were all nice, but I couldn't get the first house out of my head, so we went back to see it again. I think Jan thought I was crazy when I wanted to make another offer, but she worked with me and the impossible seller until we got the house. I think it was probably the longest month of her life, but she made the whole thing so easy for me as a buyer. I knew the seller was being difficult, but considering some of the crazy details that I heard elsewhere after the sale, she really sheltered me from the majority of it. Buying a house is stressful enough, worrying about the inspection results and the complicated insurance and how much your budget is going to change -- without having to deal with additional madness. Jan was always friendly and funny and professional, and *super* hard-working, and she answered all of my emails quickly and was always available to talk to me, even though I know she had other clients. But I especially appreciate having that buffer, which made a potentially very ugly transaction into a good experience (and great house, which is all mine now!) I absolutely recommend her and her team, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
