Jack O Trades

All work was done on a timely basis and to our satisfaction. Very professional in handling the services.

Kenny was fast, punctual, and very professional. 

He called over the weekend to confirm the appointment and came when he said he would.  I left him alone to do his thing, and he did.  I'm very pleased. 

We have used Jack 'O Trades for all of our inside and outside repair and new construction projects for the past several years. We will never use another agency.

They always explain the work to be done and the parts of the estimate. They are always on time; the work is excellent. The workers will explain the nature of the work and time required.

We have two more projects on our list--one inside and one outside--and are contacting Jack 'O Trades to schedule.

Bar stools are perfect height. Columns were trimmed out and look great. Nice finishing work and craftsmanship. Steve was very friendly and I appreciated his input on the project.

It went great!  Logan scheduled me for the next slot which was about 4 days out which was fine. Kenny called the day before the visit to confirm the time and showed up right on time as promised.  He did a good job reusing what I had for hardware, and reinstalled the shelving without having to use most of the spare parts I bought at Lowe's (I can return them and saved me a little $).  He used a little different technique to make it stronger.  So far, so good.  Don't have any concerns since Logan said they stand by their repairs.  Also, he removed a worn out hose bib against the house outside and installed and soldered a new one on there.  Everything went as planned.  Great job, I'd use these guys again in a heart beat.

Steve was actually able to come a day early and that worked great for us. He was very professional and polite and he really knew his stuff. He explained everything he was doing along the way. The install of the fan (we provided the materials) went great. We also had some outdoor lighting that needed to be checked as we suspected there was not enough juice getting to the LED bulbs. Logan said that is not normally something they work on, but they will check them out. Steve checked them out, showed me what he did, and showed me the results (everything was fine). We would definitely go with Jack O'Trades again should the need arise.

Kenny showed up exactly when he said he would and worked extremely hard to make everything look great. They will be returning in October to paint the house to finish out this project but I am extremely happy with the first major part to restore my 1923 Cypress siding back to the way it should be.

Great!  Management was prompt , responsive, and good communication via phone/email/text.   Staff was fantastic and VERY experienced (one was a former contractor).  Completely satisfied and using them again (another work order right now).   We even had a bad roof leak happen when they started my misc "honey do" project,  and handyman Steve was a great sounding board to bounce some questions off of with his extensive depth of GC experience (with the water mitigation co and roofers coming in and out, etc).

All went great ! They did have to come back out to blend the ceiling texture a little more but that was no problem at all. Logan and his team provide quality workmanship a reasonable prices and great customer service. Ken was very detail oriented

This was our first Angie's List referral and it was a very good experience; I called and left a message and got a call back within 48 hours ( he was one of two that returned the call!); according to our termite inspector, our hardiboard siding was touching the ground and the foundation could not be visualized; our "handyman" was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up afterwards; I have a few other projects that need done around our home and I will definitely use this company again!!  Thanks!!

The two-person team was very professional. Attic ladder replacement was performed with high quality. They couldn't repair the window but explained the reasons and advised I engage a window expert. In sum, I was pleased with their services and will engage them again if the need arises.

I needed a quick floor trim repair. There were two small areas in my dining room that needed to be replaced in preparation of another project. I called Logan on Wednesday afternoon and his handyman was here at 8 am Thursday. The job took about an hour and looks perfect. Kenny, the handyman was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I paid a high premium for this service because I needed to have it done immediately---so, I can't really rate "price". I was invoiced the next day and the payment process was easy.

I am very impressed with this business and will not only use them again in the future but will give high recommendations.

The contractor Steve, who did the work was professional and prompt. The workmanship, cleanliness and attention to detail was very much noted and appreciated.  Jack O Trades was referred from another contractor and my wife and I are very pleased with the results.  I would recommend Steve to anyone looking for quality workmanship.

We saved up a number of projects that needed to be completed, including a ceiling fan replacement, dry wall repair, some painting touch ups, loose pavers that needed re-installed and a loose can light that needed reset.  Kenny came out and efficiently went though each project, including touching up some paint spots that needed it that we had missed.  
After he left we noticed that the switch for the ceiling fan was buzzing when we turned the light on.  We called Jack O' Trades and Logan said he would look into it.  He followed up promptly and said after speaking to an electrician that he thought the CFL bulbs that came with the ceiling fan were incompatible with the dimmer switch and that if we switched bulbs that should take care of the problem.  We switched the bulbs and now everything is working fine.  Logan followed up to make sure that the problem had been solved.  
We have used Jack O' Trades before and will use them again and highly recommend them.

They responded promptly to my initial request (due to personal limitations, I had little time to wait for the quote), sending someone the same day to assess the job.  A reasonable quote followed shortly after, and the job was scheduled.  The work was completed in a day, and everything went very well and looks very good. 

I would also comment on the convenience aspect of the services in terms of prompt email communications and the ability to pay online with a credit card.  I do not live at the property full time and Logan was very accommodating to my schedule and unusual situation. 

Given the company provides a variety of services, I think I have found my "go to" handyman for whatever else comes up. 

We had been doing only the minimum of repairs for about 10 years and putting off whatever we could, so we had a long list of items that needed work, in almost every room in our house. 
Steve was assigned to us.  He was FANTASTIC!  Steve was very patient, explaining everything and discussing different options.  His work was impeccable on every project, big or small.  He even accompanied us to Home Depot to explain how to approach the selection and purchase of the higher ticket items on our list.
Steve took our long list, broke it down into priority levels, then just worked his way through the entire list.  This list is too long to reproduce here, but I bet it looks a lot like most people's home repair lists.  Some were improvements we wanted to make, like adding some custom shelves to an office; others were serious, like a leak in the ceiling; and most were things we'd just been putting off for years, like repairing that squeaky garage door and repainting baseboards.  As lifelong renters, we don't know how to do most of these repairs, nor do we have the tools or the time, so this is exactly the service that we needed and the outcome that we were hoping for!
We will definitely call on Jack O'Trades in the future!

Very Good. The came on time. Created and framed the opening. Made a removable door and finished the project in about 7 hours. Both of the carpenters were very courteous. They left the area where they were working clean, like they hadn't been there.

We were contacted promptly, and advised that Kenny would be coming by to give the quote.  Kenny contacted us to confirm the time and then showed up on time.  Following the inspection a quote was made and accepted and the work was completed the same day.  Kenny did a fabulous job. We had a couple areas of the work that were a bit more stubborn and needed a second pass, and contacted the company.  Kenny called and was out the next morning and touched those up promptly.  We've had no issues with the work.  Everything looks great and we are very pleased with the outcome.  I would highly recommend Jack O'Trades and will definitely use them again for further repairs in my home.

Steve's attention to detail is excellent. He has a great eye and is a perfectionist. We are glad he has a lot of experience because he was able to make sound recommendations to certain things that we would not have otherwise known were necessary and we are glad he pointed them out. He is innovative and found a way to make a job work that had limitations and challenges, especially for our old house. He did a great job, we are very happy with the work and already have plans to re-schedule additional things we would like done to the house.  Steve was positive, enthusiastic and great to work with which is a big plus. We had a lot of work for him and had changes that added to his time and we appreciate that he did not "cut corners" but instead did what he could the best way he could in the time we had scheduled. He's worth the wait for when he's available to return to finish. We gave him a lot to do and we appreciate his level of detail and professionalism. The only items remaining were installing a door knob in the bathroom door, painting the soffit/roof rafter tails and painting or staining the porch.
