Avoid this business. I hired them for an AV, shades, Vitrea/DMF lighting control project with a project value in excess of $100k. After more than 5 months, none of the items except the soundbar work as intended. The shades work intermittently. The lightning controls and DMF took months to get and installed and still there are missing/unfinished items and an electrical control box that is absolute mess. Jeff, the owner sells you on a vision of â  making technology simple â  , however, nothing is simple. Jeff promises to â  make things rightâ  , but a great cost of inconvenience to me and my family living in a construction project for 5 months. The whole project was supposed to be controlled by a Bang and Olufsen BeoLiving Intelligence control that has yet to be installed and integrated. The project management has been a disaster from day one. I had to have multiple drywall repairs and painters come to repair walls and paint after the work was done at a cost of several thousand dollars to me. Save yourself lots of grief and choose another business. Update 11-21-23 The project still isn't complete. They schedule appointments then never show up. The Vitrea lighting project still isn't finished. This project is now more than a year in the making and still not done. Avoid this place at all costs. Others have had the same experience. Update 3-25-2024 The project still isn't complete. I have made multiple attempts to contact the business and they are unresponsive. It is beyond my comprehension how the business can have 5-star reviews. The reviews can only be fake. I have spoke with multiple customers and they have had the same experience.

I met with the owner in July very nice. So nice I paid him for the entire job upfront about $30k. I was scheduled for October. We are now in march. Still not done. Outside tv is not functional, mounted terribly damaging my pergola also looks like it could fall at any second there are also still components and wires inside not plugged in to a unit that seem to be the hard wiring for the tv internet which is what I was told was a big part of what we were doing. Seems like this company could do great work and tells you about important people they work for and I believe them. I?m just not one of those important people. Recently retired baby boomers. After non stop video and wifi issues, we really wanted to simplify our overall set up with Spectrum and ADT, And we wanted new TVâ s and SONOS speakers and wireless connectivity THROUGHOUT our entire three story home . And one remote! Thanks to HIVE, we now have this. One remote!! And the extra set up on our iPads was totally painless. Kudos to Jeff Harris and his team. Theyâ ve made geek speak simple and understandable. Special shout outs to Christian and Andy for bringing it home, , and Adrian and Chris for all of the initial heavy lifting. . 1st from day 1. Owner was super nice. I put over $5000 down and was suppose to get scheduled and never heard from them for almost 2weeks. My cameras were not set up properly initially. Installers had to leave for some time for materials and 3 months later I get a bill for extra hours for them leaving to get materials. Also my cameras capabilities are not functioning properly. They sent a tech out and he was able to correct the issue from initial install however my functionality of cameras are not working still as they should for $11,000. Still waiting for this issue to be resolved. Ive messaged many times with no response. So my cameras are not FUNCTIONING as they should and I Never heard back from the additional $1400 invoice that I received a bill for 3 months after having system installed.

Scott, Josue and Val were the technicians on our project. Scott was the primary technician. They were all excellent. Scott really took the time to explain everything to us from start to finish and really goes the extra mile. If l could give him 10 stars l would.

Very professional. On time and worked quickly. I will hire them again in the future.

The install did not go perfect and some of the work quality was not great, but overall I was happy with the end result. The owner and hive bee keeper, Jeff, was great to work. I don't give very many recommendations but I can recommend Hive.
