Hillsborough Lock and Key

Hillsborough Lock and Key repaired a broken car key/remote and then advised me that a second key/remote that I had thought would need to be repaired did not need the repair, saving me almost $70 in the process. Would definitely go back.

He came earlier than scheduled, was courteous, professional and quick! After having used other locksmiths before, I believe this is the only one I will use going forward.

Company was exactly on time for appointment. The serviceman Richard was knowledgeable, fast ,and polite. Service charge was very reasonable. I would positively use this company in the future.

Fantastic. They were amazing. It was frozen and not too simple and they didn't mind taking longer and getting it done. The new lock is great. Gave us a choice of several types. Came well prepared. Would hire again in a minute. Very happy. Excellent service.

I chose this provider based on the reviews. They called me to set the appointment and the provider was punctual. The service was fast and painless.

He was a little sloppy when he got here. It was a Sunday and it took him half an hour to get here.

The gentleman that came out was Richard; and he did a fantastic job! I am very happy with it.

Richard did a great job, he was professional and quick.

Only problem is I asked if they had equipment to take and old lock off a back gate. We didn't discuss that as a part of the service and they did not tell me they were going to do it or a price. They just took off all my locks and then gave me a bill. If I knew the were going to charge me for that I would have told them not to do it since I HAD THE KEY and now they destroyed a good (and expensive) lock.

Otherwise my experience was good.

The repairman was punctual, professional, and courteous.

My only complaint was the charge of $18.00 to re-key the lock. He was asked to do it, but failed to tell us that it would cost 18.00.

We thought that it should have been part of the cost of the service ($55 service call plus $21 remove and replace).
