Bid was competitive, and was adhered to throughout the build process. Scheduling was as promised at the time of contract signing, with subcontractor delays rare and very short term. Workmanship was good to excellent in all trades. Any discrepancies were resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Contractor oversight of subcontractors was frequent and thorough.

He got to the end of the job, there is a leak on the 2nd floor that leaks to the first floor. I don't pay until the job is done. There is still $15,000.00 that is unpaid. He's untrustworthy and doesn't tell the truth.

"In the very beginning of the project, after the Agreement was signed, the member informed me of a "bad" experience with a Contractor in New York, and his inherent distrust of Contractors in general. During the course of construction, the member constantly berated and "lorded over" our Sub-Contractors, interfered with the work, and created a very negative atmosphere for all involved. The member has retained $15,000 of the final payment, which is over three times the cost of the punch-out and repair items. GRW Construction Corp. is considering enforcing a Mechanics Lien on his property, and in the meantime has elected to allow the member to complete the work himself with the money he owes, and send the remaining balance to GRW. GRW obtains its work mostly from referrals. All of our other customers are and have been satisfied and happy with our work. The member, however, could turn honey into vinegar!"
