The landscaping itself was fine. The negative issue was destruction of existing landscape lighting in the front beds. Above the customer signature line of the contract, the company waives all liability for damage to lighting, irrigation systems, etc. and I accepted that, with the expectation that there would be a certain standard of care. On arrival I noted to the crew, the location of the landscape lighting and the fact that I intended to reuse it. Later in the day I found it pulled apart and lying in a pile near the house. Wiring was pulled out of some of the receptacles and the main power line was severed. Subsequently, I received a quote of $750 to reinstall the lighting and purchase new fixtures for the receptacles with no wiring. I do not like leaving negative reviews, but in this case anyone doing business with Green Thumb should be aware that any ancillary items like lighting or sprinklers are at risk, even if you point it out to them.

It looks amazing! First Steve had a crew out to fix the Irrigation system, new valves, replaced most of the sprinkler heads with new popup better ones. We have two large Oak trees, and grass will not grow under them. So again Steve came up with a beautiful plan. Pinebark mulch, and the jasmine groundcover for areas around the Oak trees. Then sod in other areas. They also scrapped off the old dead stuff, put in good soil. The work they did totally exceeded expectations.

Steve showed up as planned for the estimate, listened to all of our requests and answered our questions. He provided a written estimate quickly and then came back out to answer more of our questions. Steve was very responsive to emails and calls. When the job was scheduled, Steve and his crew showed up on time, were professional and completed the job exactly as promised. We were provided with step-by-step instructions on how to care for our new yard and landscaping plant by plant! I couldn’t be happier, the landscaping is so beautiful, and has mad our house the best looking in the neighborhood!

For 17 years, I have used Green Thumb for my landscaping needs. This year when I needed a large portion of my yard sodded, they provided me with a very competitive quote. They did a terrific job, but I had an infestation of insects that wiped out most of the new sod in a couple of days. Green Thumb worked with me to get rid of the pests and came back to get my yard done correctly. Steve made several trips out here to re-evaluate the pest situation before putting down the replacement sod. The crew worked tirelessly and left my yard spotless. They truly care about their customers and they care about their reputation. They are top-notch professionals, and they earned my loyalty.

Fantastic company. Green Thumb came highly recommended from many of our friends and neighbors and I will say you can not go wrong hiring them. They were always on time and very professional. The design is exactly what my wife was looking for, but we don't know difference from one plant/bush to the next. Even more important, they stand behind their work. Deer in our neighborhood immediately began feasting on one of the plants installed and we bought about 15 of them. We were obviously very upset and concerned, but Steve took our fears away immediately by offering to change those plants out for something else that is more deer resistant. I will go to Green Thumb for all of our future needs and you should too!

Very simply stated - you will NOT find a better selection of full, beautiful Christmas trees in Tampa Bay for the price.  They are friendly but not over-bearing, they are patient and helpful.  
The mulch process is easy, simple, and efficient.  They do what they can to ensure I don't have to wait for the mulch to be loaded into the truck bed.
Would definitely use again!!!
