I'm now stuck with having to deal with AUTO GLASS AMERICA. I'm doubtful this will be resolved satisfactorily. Well, the story improves from this point. When I called "Will" back and told him how angry I was he said he would have someone else come out the following day and replace the windshield. On 10/25/ll My windshield was replaced and now appears to be working as it should. Thank goodness
Description of Work: I hired AUTO GLASS AMERICA to replace my windshield. Stupid me- I made this commitment based on a Salesperson approaching me at my home. His name was" Ken Kluchinsky". He contacted my insurance company to get authorization for the work and set up a date 2 days later for the work to be done. The windshield was installed on 10/16/11 by "Oscar". It took him all of 20 minutes, but the bill indicates 3.4 hours ($136.00) On 10/20/11 while driving I could hear and feel air coming in under the windshield once you reached about 40mph. I took the car to my mechanic and he agreed that there was a leak and this wasn't normal. His concern was that this leak is in an area of the car right over the "electronics" and if that gets wet then I'll really have big problems. I contacted "Will" at AUTO GLASS AMERICA on the same day; he was very pleasant and apologetic. He told me that someone would be out to do the "warranty" work on 10/25/11. No one showed up on 10/25/11 so I called "Will" back. Again he was very pleasant and explained that the technician had car trouble and his appointments for the day had to be rescheduled. Today, 10/25/ll "Oscar" returned and spent 5 minutes doing a repair. The windshield is still leaking air! Now I'm getting angry. My mechanic referred me to the glass company he uses. I called them and they called my insurance company where I was told that since the company I had used AUTO GLASS AMERICA isn't a "preferred provider" that they will not pay for me to have a second windshield installed. My recommendation to all of you is DON'T EVER HAVE SOMEONE WHO ISN'T A PREFERRED PROVIDER REPLACE YOUR WINDSHIELD. You spend a fortune on insurance so go with someone the insurance company will back up. I feel really stupid for making this mistake; don't let this happen to you

We called to have our Sienna windshield replaced because it had a nick from a small rock that had ricocheted off the road. We were quoted $250 to replace the glass. The service person came to our house as scheduled. He said that it didn't need to be replaced. He could repair it for a fraction of the cost. He did a wonderful job. Everybody I dealt with at the company was professional, polite and helpful. I will definitely use them again and have already recommended them to other people.

Called company and made appointment to have windshield replaced. Representative on the phone was courteous and made sure to get information correct and contact numbers. Call the day of appointment to tell me when to expect the replacement team. Tech Bill arrived on time at time promised. Job was done and area was left clean. Instructions were clear about when I could use the car and what precautions to take until the seal dried.
