Geek Squad - Best Buy

Excellent service and quick turnaround.

First time using geek squad and not very techi myself. Needed someone with patience. Not only did I need help but really did not even know what questions to ask about why things were not working. My computer was freezing, my laser printer stopped working completely and in the past no one from other places ever suggested to install backup even though I had said I had a computer crash in the past. I got excellent service and by the time we were done everything was working and I understood how to keep it that way. Great!

The only thing I don't like is when he put in the home theater system and when I put in the home theater system sometimes they don't have enough volume especially when you're watching certain TV channels. They are a little pricey.

Had an appointment. Arrived a little early (about 10 min). Ended up waiting for almost an hour to be seen.  Had a computer crash. Employee acted like he just didn't care. Asked about analysis to determine problem. Said had to ship it off and it would take about a week or so to determine problem. Said I had to pay $35 and if I chose not to have the work done, I lost the $. If I did it would be applied to the bill. What a rip off. Went to a computer store down the street and they did the analysis for free. I ended up buying a new computer from them. It took all of about a total of 30 minutes. I will never use them for any service in the future.

1st they ran a quick diagnois to narrow down the problem;then they had to totally restore it to factory specs

The Geek Squad at the Wesley Chapel Best Buy has done well by me.  Granted, I pay for the contract each year, but when I take my stuff in, there are no questions asked.  They take it, they fix it, give it back, and they do a good job.  I give them kudos. It's a $189 contract for the year, and it's unlimited service.  It's not cheap but it's worth it for me.  I had one difficulty one time where the processor seemed to run slower after they gave it back, so I ran it back up there, but they fixed it right away.  I would give an A- for quality if I could for that.  Otherwise they are friendly, professional and timely.

I was having a problem with my printer working and the guy came out, fixed it and it worked maybe three or four times and then it quit working. I called them and they came out. They didn't charge me for that visit. I really appreciate it. They came out when they said they did. They were on time. They're very good and professional.

He took his time to make sure I knew how to use my home theater. He even went over whta the cable company explained. He really did not a great job explaining everything. He was really patient and took his time. He was phenomenal. He is the kind of person you want to come out to the house. He really knew his stuff and I am extremely happy.

This was a nice experience. We did have to wait a little bit for them to say they couldn't get the part, but everything else was good. We did have to pay for an extended warranty on our new one which is a very nice TV.

The service man was astounded it was taking so long for this repair until I explained the circumstances to him. He was very friendly and courteous.
