Gary Burtis Lawn Care

I hired Gary Burtis Lawn Care about 2 years ago. We are supposed to get weekly service March through October and every two weeks during the winter. In the very beginning things were fine and someone seemed to come mow roughly according to the promised schedule.
But in the past year it has all gone down the crapper. It seems that I am constantly calling and sending letters trying to get ANYONE to come mow our yard. After calling every day last week and every day this week (getting an automated voicemail message each time), Gary finally picked up the phone yesterday and said "I promise my guy will be out this afternoon." Well guess what? Didn't happen. Didn't happen today either, and it has been a beautiful sunny day, so there is just no excuse for it.
They haven't been here in at least 3 weeks and we have bahia seedlings over 2 feet tall. Our little push lawn mower can't even handle grass this high, so now I'm struggling to find someone who can come out and do it like NOW. I have even left messages (and sent letters) to Gary saying "If you can't perform our lawn care, just let me know so I can find someone who can." He won't even return those calls. I'm disgusted.
Stay far, far away from this "service" provider.  It will provide you with nothing but high grass and major headaches.

I fired them. Gary Burtis made a lot of promises he couldn't keep. He destroyed a lot of things and didn't fix them. It was by accident and he said it wasn't me. Trying to talk to Gary is very unpleasant. He fixed the lawn the way he thought it would look and not the way I wanted. He does a decent job but he lies about stuff. He is undependable.
