We hired this contractor to do what we believed were simple repairs and rennovations at our house.  One door (our main door) was purchased by him AND painted, only to discover when he finally tried to hang the door that the hinges didn't line up (so it wasn't the right door).  That's currently leaning unused in our garage (along with the lock we also had to pay for).  The side garage door he installed was okay, but the lock line up on the trim that he also rebuilt was not done correctly (per a home inspector we had to hire for the roof problems he caused).  But the real nightmare is the damage he caused to our roof truss system when he installed what was suppose to be a simple attic walkway above the garage area.  We hired the home inspectors to check the integrity of the work and the report states that our attic could collapse at any time now because this contractor cut pie-shaped wedges (I've attached photos of his handiwork) into three consecutive roof trusses (trusses needed for the support of our roof system) while installing the walkway.  This was how he resolved accomodating the house wiring!  We now have a damaged roof system heading into hurricane season in Florida. and are now scrambling to find someone who has the time during this very busy season to repair it before everything collapses.

Although he has a Building Contractor's license with the county, it's clear he doesn't know what he's doing.  I would not use this contractor for even the simplest task.
