FLOWERS BY DESIGN

We contracted Jamie to do the wedding flowers by recommendation. Jodi (my daughter) picked out the flowers she wanted. She made a few changes on the original order by email. All was going well. Jamie then had on the original invoice for us to pay by June of 2008. The wedding was 5/10/08. That should have been our first clue. She was also supposed to go to the Country Club (Available on 3/12/08 to look at it). She never did until the day before the wedding. The day of the wedding she brought the wrong corsages, the wrong color, the wrong boutonnieres and the wrong color. I called her from the Country Club and she told me I was wrong. Too late to argue. On 5/12/08, I looked at the invoice and discovered all these mistakes. I then emailed her the invoice and wrote her an email of all her mistakes. She said it wasn't a big deal for the color. AND--we were late on our payment--dah-she had the wrong date on the invoice. My daughter corrected her. She was very lax on the whole thing. I feel she felt we did not spend a lot on the flowers and she really did not care what kind of service she gave us. She wrote in the email she could not give us any kind of monetary refund because she was really working down to the bone (baloney). The wrong flowers! How could anyone in business be so stupid. I told her I really wasn't looking for a refund, but I thought she was rude. Now I changed my mind. The flowers were wrong. I paid for something I did not receive. I feel I should be compensated.
