It went great.

He was great. Everything went as planned.

Everything went well from beginning to end. I am very happy with the enclosure quality and price. I met with a couple of companies and got estimates. They were all ok. However, when I met with Steve, he struck me as the type of person who you could make a "handshake" deal with and that he would honor that deal. That, coupled with the quality of materials and craftwork sold me. I had a complex wall with odd angles to deal with. He did a great job making the enclosure fit and look nice.  Thanks!

Steve and his crew worked quick and efficiently and cleaned up at the end of each day. Steve is a professional. He finished up by doing a complete power washing of the complete pool area including grill, furniture, awnings as well as the screen structure itself. After three very successful projects, no one but Steve will ever touch my pool area.

They were very thorough and the price was reasonable. The service was great.

This is the third time I've used Steve's services and I'm always pleased with the results.
I had wood rot under the flat roof of the lanai due to water cascading over the side of the gutter every time it rained hard. In order to repair the wood rot I had to have the gutter and screens worked on.
Steve installed a  bigger gutter on the back and  replaced the screens and the rotted wood.
The work started early on Monday morning and was completed by Tuesday noon. Steve was involved with the work the whole time.
He explained what he did in a very thorough manner.
Steve is always flexible and willing to work with you.
I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him.

Everything went well. Initially contact was prompt, particularly liked his flexibility in communication, phone, fax, cell, text.  The project was assessed thoroughly and cost projections presented promptly. Material samples and other options were presented during the project assessment. Once the proposal was completed and accepted, the work began quickly. Steven and Don were present along with other members of the crew the entire time. The project was completed in one day and the site was left clean. Before leaving, the project was reviewed for completion. It was appreciated at that time the attention to detail given to the project. I was very impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of the whole process. I would feel very confident in recommending to friends and family and will definitely seek them for future projects.

Very professional and good price.  Screen came out wonderful.  Do no hesitate to use Steve.  Did everything they promised and more.  Arrived on time and job was done without leaving a big mess.

This was an excellent experience.  I really like that Steve does this work himself.  It took him about 4 hours to replace all of the screen and clean up.  It was a VERY windy day, and I know this slowed him down alot.  The clean up was exceptional, and frankly this is one of the reasons I used him  I had read other reviews that said his clean up was good, and it was GREAT.  Important to me because the property is rented.  The work was exceptional.  Perfect in fact. Nice to see such good work.  It did take me two days to reach him, but people have to understand that this is a one man show.  He is busy.  His phone greeting explains that if he he doesnt respond, please call his cell.  I called his cell the following day and we scheduled the work.  Steve, in fact, was able to come sooner than expected due to a cancellation.  Also greatly appreciated.  Dont hesitate, use Steve.

Totally reliable, professional and not only a fast worker but never cuts corners to sacrifice quality. Could not ask for any better service! Hard to contact sometimes but we arranged a 'hook-up' and he arrived as promised. In fact, about an hour earlier than expected but he called to give me an 'on the way' heads up. I asked for screening repairs to tje pool enclosure but he also adjusted the latch on my screen door and the privacy fence gate to the backyard he also cleaned out some clogged gutters bordering the pool enclosure. And at a very competitive price, I might add! When some of my neighbor's tree branches attacked my pool screens over the last few months it became too much to handle with a torn rotator cuff. Alas, Steve to the rescue. Hopefully the big bad oak tree next door will keep its branches. leaves and acorns to itself for awhile and my pool will be alot cleaner with a secure enclosure once again. This is the third time in the last 5 yrs or so Steve has been there for me and everytime it has been the same old response from him - OUTSTANDING!!!!I I admire his work ethic and will not hesitate to call for his help whenever the need arises.

Gutters in Lanai were inadequate and caused flooding. Steve installed new gutters and changed rain flow. We were not in town when this occurred but job was done timely and correct

We received estimates from several companies but Steve was the only one that came back after his initial visit with samples of how the work would be done, and demonstrated our options. Absolutely no pressure but very thorough to make sure we understood the process of replacing our roof. No one else did this, they only gave us a price. He did the work in one day but kept us informed of his progress several times that day. When he left, after his clean-up, you would not have known he was there. Courteous, punctual, and great work. We could not have expected more.

Steve is a godsend! He came in to "fix" a series of  problems that were created by another contractor (see previous review of Lightning Aluminum).
I had leaks everywhere in a poorly constructed screen-room and Steve came in and repaired everything. Now I have a screen-room that I can actually enjoy without ANY leaks.
He is knowledgable, honest, persistent, friendly, and hard working. It does take him a little longer to return a phone call, but it is worth the wait. 
I have had him return to do some additional work for me in March of 2013 and his work was as exceptional as ever!

See my comments above!!!  I will contact him again whenever I need further screen or enclosure repairs.  I know he's hard to get a hold of by phone sometimes, but it's well worth the effort to keep trying until you do make contact!!

Steve came out on time and gave me a great estimate. I was also going to fence in a portion of my back yard but was worried about some areas of my decking that my dogs could jump through. Steve was able to extend the lattice work for me and it looks great. My back porch never looked better. Then he did what I originally called him for , screening in my front porch. Wow I said I didn't know why I waited so long to screen my porch in. It looks wonderful. Steve did a very good job and I think the whole thing was very reasonable in price. He was friendly and easy to work with. I also like that he made suggestions about the back porch area.

Same as last time.. From start to finish Steve and his helper were superb!!!

Florida Enclosures by Steve was recommended to me by a close friend, who had nothing but positive comments to offer reference the work Steve had completed on his property.
I was impressed with Steve's professionalism and the way he presented his company when he first visited with my wife and I to disscuss our project, and how he explained in detail how he was going to complete the removal and replacement of what I would call a larger than normal patio and pool enclosure. Throughout the project he kept us informed every step of the way, many times taking time to stop and ask if we had any questions or concerns about the project and the progress he was making.
He kept the job-site clean and organized throughout the project, we never had to ask him to pick up or clean anything. Bottom line is that I would reccommend Florida Encllosures by Steve to anyone, he did a great job, for a fair price; which resulted in a new patio/pool enclosure for us to enjoy for years to come.

I used Angie's list to contact seven different highly rated screen enclosure business's in the Tampa area. Steve's price was the best and included replacing all the tap cons and door closer's when the other's didn't. Steve was always on time and finished the job in the time frame quoted. He cleaned up after the job leaving my pool area better than he found it. I have recommended Steve to a friend who has had the same experience. You won't go wrong with this guy!

Contractor offered good advice and several options. Price was the best. Got the job done in one day and it looked great. Even took the furniture off the porch and cleaned it off before putting it back in place. Allowed me to pay by check. Was always polite and responsive.
The score 'B' in professionalism came from having to reschedule from our agreed date (he forgot a personal event), never delivered a written bid (we eventually did it on verbal agreement), and charging for the freebie items because he didn't write down what we agreed to by phone. There were some extras that he said he would throw in for free since he had inventory in stock but he ended up charging me for them. I was kind of disappointed at that. He offered to correct the pricing but we had been considering providing a good tip so it all balanced out. In the end, I changed the overall score from B back to A.

I am a repeat customer.  Steve does excellent work and I will continue to recommend him to my neighbors.
