Alex was on time and extremely helpful. They worked quickly and the job site was kept clean. We will be using them for yearly maint and would recommend them for any AC work needed. Very prompt and professional.

My 12-year old 5-ton heat pump system died and I needed to have it replaced. I contacted several companies to get estimates. Most didn't even bother to come here, limiting to provide an estimate via phone or e-mail. A few came and the prices varied significantly (by thousands of dollars!). One of those that came here to check what I had and needed was Alex De Armas, owner of Diversified Air Solutions. He was prompt, very professional, did not push to up sell and gave me the best price. He was flexible in terms of scheduling the service, came here when scheduled and got it done efficiently and without any issues. He and his team were friendly, answered my questions, and made sure to leave everything clean when done. When the City of Tampa inspector came to perform the mandatory installation inspection, he was impressed by the quality of the work performed - what attests to the outstanding and thorough work Alex and his team did. I would not hesitate to recommend Alex and Diversified Air Solutions, and from now own I will have them perform the annual maintenance of the equipment, to ensure its longevity. 5 stars!

They were awesome! They were really good. I thought the price was good; they're competitive, and they give good prices. He knew his stuff, and he gave me confidence. He was good. It's a small company, but the guy was earning his keep, I'm completely confident. They were clean, they did all the work and the permit and all that I needed to get, they did all that for me. Whatever all I don't know. I didn't know what how to contact the city or the county and they did all that.

Alexander installed a capacitor, after showing me the gauge confirming the need for its replacement. He also put a gauge on the new one to confirm that it met specs. Unlike most other contractors, he waives the service call charges for Angie's List members, whether he performs work or not. A couple of weeks later, I though I had a problem which turned out to be a false alarm. But after arriving and my telling him that it was a false alarm, he without complaining and very courteously said "no problem", call if we can be of further assistance. His prices are fair, and I would not hesitate to recommend and use them in the future.

I called Diversified Air Solutions after researching services, reviews and special deals in Angie's list. I had 2 other services providers selected if for some reason I did not like Diversified and/or felt their price was above what I had seen in Angie's. I called them in the morning and Alex told me that he would be able to be at my place between 2 and 3pm but that he would call to confirm the exact time. His prices were very competitive with under $30 to diagnose the problem and $59 for a system inspection and tun-up. He also said that after the diagnostic, if he ended up fixing something or doing the tun-up, he would not charge the $30. He was very forward about his work ethics and that he would not try to up-sell something we did not need. By 1pm he called and said he would be arriving at 2pm. At exactly 2pm he knocked on my door! I was not surprised, since every review said that the was extremely punctual, but I was certainly very pleased that he was consistent! He went about checking the A/C system and found that all the freeon had leaked. He said that he would had just recommend to add freeon if there was still some left in the system, but since there wasn't any felt, he gave us the options: we could opt to find the leak and refill with freeon (the right type of freeon is quite expensive nowadays) or replace the unit. We asked more information about benefits of changing the unit and he explained every thing and provided the warranty information. 10 year warranty on the system major components, 5 years on the small components, and one year labor - which is the same that all other folks in Angie's. He proposed a 2-ton Tempstar unit. We never heard of the brand nor of the parent company Carrier, but he assured he had been installing Tempstar for a few years and that his experience with them has been very good and with no issues. We decided we needed to do research before agreeing to it. We checked the company and saw that Carrier has been bought by United Technologies and that United Tech was a big and stable company that will stay around for years to come (we were afraid to buy something and 4 years down the road the company goes out of business). Then we checked for A/C brand reliability and found in the consumer's report site that customers who have installed A/C between 2008 and 2015 had ranked Carrier as the 5th most reliable bran. In the 5 year failure rate ranked, the most reliable was American Standards with 20% failure, Lenox and Trane at 21%, Bryant at 23%, Carrier at 24%, Rheem at 27%, York at 28%, Goodman at 29% and Amana at 30%. While looking on like, the reviews for Goodman seemed pretty good, so we were surprised when we saw that for the 7 year period that CR did the research (2008-2015), it was one of the least reliable brands. I must say that while we were trying to find information on what Alex would be installing, I must have texted Alex at least 10 times, and he would reply with the answers and called me before his next job to ensure I got all that I needed. The awesome thing was, everything he told us checked correct with the research we did online! We made our decision the day after of the diagnostic, and Alex was able to get a unity and install the next day. They came at 9am on the dot, and completed the work by 3pm - they waited after done for the temperature to change to make sure everything was fine and did an awesome job cleaning up after themselves. He registered our unit and sent the warranty paper by the next morning. He started working in electrical jobs since 16. Besides licensed A/C services he is also a licensed electrician, and I am definitely keeping his info for future electrical work. Overall A+ honesty, professionalism, quality, punctuality, friendliness, patience to answer questions - I would definitely hire Alex again!

They showed up early and didn't mind waiting for me. They were very professional. Also, even more importantly they were very honest and charged me only what was needed. Alex and Johnny worked hard and did a job quick. They were thorough to ensure a job well done.

It went well. We took quotes from three vendors. One was way higher than the other two. Of the two remaining Alex came across as more professional, and willing to explain why I need to replace and what are the options. They were also wiling to install the brand we wanted, we wanted a Trane since thats what we had and it lasted 17 yrs. Alex didnt have a lot of history on Angies List, still I chose him because he came across as up-front and competent. I am happy with the choice. Alex and his partner John were very professional, did a great job, installing and cleaning up. Also took the time to explain to me how to maintain it. Couple of days later followed up with a county inspection also got the warranty registered and handed me a copy. Great job.

I am so impressed! Alex and John came out on time and did the work in a very professional manner. They removed their shoes before coming into the house as they saw new carpets being installed. While they fixed our problem and they also explained everything they were doing. I was amazed that he did not want to sell me a new unit, he just found the issue and corrected it. They had to order a part but made sure they set up the return visit to my timeframe. They were able to do a temp fix so I could have air even without the part. I am not usually impressed with repairmen but this company is fantastic. Highly recommend them.

I needed my air conditioning unit looked at, due to it not cooling properly. I found Diversified Air Solutions, who came to check out my unit promptly. John and Alex were very polite and courteous, and ensured that I understood everything and answered any questions I had to prevent any issues in the future, etc. They found my coil was very dirty and just needed to be cleaned. They charged me a very fair price and fixed the issue right away. I would highly recommend Diversified Air Solutions for anyone in need of AC services.

He did all the work promised. Answered all my questions, added hurrican pad and reinformcements. He even found all the paperwork from the installed items for me and registered our unit with the manufactur.
He and John cleaned up all the mess before they left and our AC has been working great. I would definitely Recommand him to anyone needs AC service.

I can not say enough good things about the experience with Alex, he showed up 10 min. early but waited in his van until our scheduled appointment time before he rang the doorbell, right off the bat I knew he was the real deal. He introduced himself and asked if I wanted to see his license before he started the work and even took his shoes off before he entered my home. He was polite and looked like a well kept young man.  He completed the work and cleaned up very well before putting the frig back in place, he then thanked me for my business and e-mailed me a receipt right on the spot.  Two days later there was a tad bit of water on the floor, I called Alex and he showed concern he did not do something he should have on the first visit, he came back immediately and checked the problem, within minutes he found the problem and fixed it, he not only did not charge me to come back he checked my A/C unit for free!!
In today's world its sometimes hard to trust people but rest assured Alex is the real deal and deserves the opportunity to earn your business, I wish all trades were like Alex!!

Super honest, reliable and I highly recommend his work and look forward to doing business with him again. Alex seems like an honest family man who is going to show you what the issues are and explain the situation. Efficient, and competent. I felt very comfortable having him at my house. You never know who you are going to get when you call a service like this to come out to your house in the middle of the night. Alex will certainly be in my cell phone for upcoming maintenance or issues.

What a great experience. On time, very polite and courteous, excellent customer service. My A/C has been running so much better and colder and I have also seen a nice change in my electric bill! After consulting with another company who advised me I needed a whole new system which would cost me over $8,000, I had to get a second opinion and I'm glad I called Diversified Air, who advised me what I really needed which was much less expensive. Thank you for not trying to take my money! I will definitely be calling again for any services I need.

Arrived exactly on time and completed work within estimated duration.  Courteous, dependable, and quality professional approach. Alex arranged a common time to come back with the inspector; the work passed with no issues.  Alex also followed up after the weather turned warmer to ensure that all components were working as efficiently as possible.  Extremely pleased with the service and experience. I have already recommended this company to a co-worker and my son; this would never occur unless had complete confidence and trust.

Over all these guys are well rounded and very professional, their work is top notch and speaks for itself. I personally liked that alex the owner is on sight working thru the whole process. Rarely do i give a company a perfect score but these guys are the exception, i woul recommend diversified air solutions to anyone who is in need of air conditioning services.
