DISH NETWORK

I had to terminate my services with them. They were charging for service, even though we had a dispute with the performance of the internet. We let the service drop for a few months, but they continued to charge us the same amount. Now we are having to pay a cancellation fee. I was willing to work with them if they would make adjustments, but was unable to get anything solved.

I like that they are not Verizon and Comcast.  I like that they have a range to pick from as far as pricing is concerned and what you get for that.  As compared to the cable networks, they came when they said they were going to come.  The guy was very personable, He really took time to do a good job and did what I wanted.  It was not just run in, run out.  He took time to show me how to use it.

They had added a movie channel for free. They did not tell me that I had to call after three months to cancel and they refused to give me a credit. The service is kind of yucky and my TV isn't really clear. They say it is because of my neighbor's tree. The overall experience was poor.

I am not happy with them at all. I want to be able to bundle my telephone, internet, television and Verizon TV.  The price keeps going up dramatically for TV with Dish Network. Every time it rains I lose service and they don't allow any deductions for loss of service. I am planning to switch to Direct TV which does bundle all I want in the near future. I will not continue to use this company.

I am thinking of considering Direct tv because they will give me a better package.  They do bundle their tv, internet, and telephone.

I called them about service and they told me I would have to pay a $365 dollar deposit. The manager in the background was telling the individual on the phone to explain the deposit to me. The next day someone from Dish Network called me and they said that there is no deposit but that I had to pay another fee of $60. The number came up as private party when they called me back. The whole thing just made me a very suspicious.
