The countertop was cracked and the owner would not repair or replace. The owner makes promises he does not keep.

Design Concepts had a stone that my wife and I liked, at a good price. I couldn't say their service was excellent. I feel that they were very friendly, and very attentive to make the sale. The after sale service was not as good. I was satisfied with the product and installation. There were some minor problems, they didn't return my phone calls for weeks. I think they needed to follow up more than they did. I would be hesitant to use them again.

Original estimate was half the final amount of the final cost. I acknowledge that my measurements were off compared to their measurements. (First estimate was based on my own measurements.) I feel I was pressured to upgrade my choices to more expensive granite. I also feel I was pressured to buy one of their stainless steel kitchen sinks when I repeatedly said I wanted to buy my own white porcelain kitchen sink. Their price for a white kitchen sink was very high. They made the price so low for the steel sink that I agreed to it. I shouldn't have-I admit that. The steel sink was installed, then I noticed scratches on it. Turns out it was the last one of a batch of 20 sinks that they got a "deal" on. No wonder. Had to argue back and forth until the owner finally agreed to replace the sink. The replacement sink is a different size-doesn't fit flush, but it works. I was unhappy with the steel look, also unhappy with the color of the kitchen granite. I feel I was pressured.
