I have been using Delintz since 2016 - one story home for 90.00. The tech came today and told me it would be $100.00. Surprise to me and I was not told this when I scheduled the appt. or I would have looked elsewhere. I called their office 813-908-6191 after the tech left and expressed my displeasure. I said Angie's list had the price for a one story at $85-$90. She got very indignant with me and said she has not advertised with Angie's list in years and they should not have the prices listed. I told her she needs to contact them, then. Their website [*** Link removed ***] has Angie's list on the front page. hmmmm... The tech that came was very professional friendly and efficient. The office staff - another matter. I will use another service next year. Customers should be treated with respect.

I live in a three-story townhouse in South Tampa and had a hard time finding a company willing to service my dryer vent because of the three-stories. I was referred to Delintz by another vent cleaning company and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and professionalism of the service they provided! I called to set-up the appointment on Monday and they were out Thursday morning to do the work. They came in the time frame of the appointment, were very polite, and cleaned up after themselves! They requested towels to not scratch my hardwood floors and then even folded the towels when they were done. I will definitely be hiring Delintz again and will be telling all of my neighbors!

Scheduling was easy, and the technician showed up on time. There was a little miscommunication, as I thought he was showing up to give me an estimate, and I had two others coming the same day for estimates. The technician told me that the repair of the vent was going to be $75, so I said, OK, go for it, without waiting for the other estimators. Also, I didn't understand that the $75 was just for the repair of the vent tube, in addition to cleaning/unclogging the obstruction. He did a professional job, cleaning out the obstruction from the roof side, the dryer side, and then fixing the seam. One of the other persons who was scheduled to come give an estimate came while he was up in the attic working on the vent seam, and talked to him for a bit, then left. Afterward, when we operated the dryer, we noticed a moderately loud rattle that had not been there before. We called the company. The person that we talked to was very defensive and argumentative. She stated that the noise could not have been caused by her serviceman, and that we needed to call our appliance serviceman. I pointed out that there was no similar noise before the vent cleaning. Instead of acknowledging that the technician might have caused the problem, she brought up that our vent pipe was completely obstructed, and that we had scheduled someone else to come at the same time as if these issues somehow negated the new noise issue. She told me to call an appliance repairman, and if the appliance repairman determined that it had something to do with the vent cleaning, she would "look at it." We had an appliance contract with Sears, we called them. He came out, took the dryer apart, and noted that the new rattling was coming from where the dryer vent met the dryer. He said the noise must have developed after the dryer was re-connected to the vent after being removed for cleaning. He removed a piece of metal, tightened something up, and the rattle was gone. He also cleaned some lint from the base of the dryer, which had accumulated due to the vent obstruction, but said that had nothing to do with the noise. I did not choose to call up the DeLintz after the appliance service, as I had no desire to talk to the person on the phone again, and since I would only be talking remedying a service call charge by Sears for $75 - it wasn't worth it to me, and the dryer got a nice cleaning. In summary, the technician did a professional job at clearing an obstructed vent and repairing a seam defect. He left the dryer noisier than when he started due to the reconnection. The person who answers the phone calls for the company is very defensive and not open to considering that their service might have caused a problem.

Excellent. On time. Job was completed quickly. No mess was left. This involved using a ladder to get to the roof of the second story of my townhouse. Have used Delintz for many years to keep the dryer vent clean.
