CHRIS REID GOT IN TOUCH W/ ME 9/16/04 & SAID HE RECEIVED MY FAX. HE ASKED ME FOR A KEY TO FINISH THE JOB. I, OF COURSE, TOLD HIM NO. HE CAME TUESDAY THE 21ST & FINISHED THE JOB BUT DID NOT TAKE THE CARE TO DO IT WELL. I KNOW HE'S CAPABLE OF DOING A GOOD JOB B/C THE FIRST PORTION OF THE JOB WAS DONE VERY WELL. HE LEFT PAINT ON MY CEILING, WHICH HE PREVIOUSLY SAID HE WOULD FIX & DIDN'T FINISH THE TRIM. AT LEAST MOST OF THE WORK WAS DONE. HE SAID THAT HIS GIRLFRIEND'S DAD DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT BUT THAT DIDN'T EXPLAIN WHY HIS PHONE WAS DISCONNECTED. BTW, HE SAID IT IS RECONNECTED BUT I HAVEN'T TRIED IT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF REVIEW TO PUT FOR CHRIS. WHAT IF ALL OF HIS EXCUSES WERE LEGITIMATE? EITHER WAY, HE IS A TALENTED PAINTER BUT I DO QUESTION HIS WORK ETHIC. I WAS DISAPPOINTED W/ WHAT THE SERVICES I RECEIVED BUT WOULD FEEL UNJUST IF HIS EXCUSES WERE VALID.

"THIS WAS A TERRIBLE TIME PERIOD FOR ME. I FEEL BADLY THAT THIS MEMBER WAS DISAPPOINTED, BUT UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES I DID THE BEST I COULD. I HAVE MANY, MANY 100% DELIGHTED CUSTOMERS, AND REFERENCES TO BACK THAT UP.
