Great - really terrific! I think I already reviewed this purchase last year. I hate to repeat it. But...



This store is one of the best kept appliance secrets in the Tampa Bay Area. It's in an office park on Race Track Road - somewhere one wouldn't expect to find an appliance showroom. I only stumbled upon it because it was next door to the company who was doing my kitchen remodeling I knew what brand of refrigerator (LG) and dishwasher (Whirlpool) I wanted, but hadn't yet picked out a range or microwave. They had exactly what I wanted (GE products). The best part was they were able to match ANY price I found, even the on-line companies. I had a 10% off Home Depot coupon and they even honored that!



Here's the best (and nicest) part of the purchase...



Before I even started my remodel, I fell and shattered my knee cap. I had to put off the project for at least 3 months. They were wonderful about holding my order for me. There were $100 in rebates on the GE products that I'd f completely forgotten. My sales guy, Chris called me and asked me if he could send the rebates in for me since I was laid up and didn't have the receipts or proper paperwork to send them in. Of course, I said YES! It was that kind of service and concern that will keep me going back there when I need a new appliance. I have recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so.

Custom Distributors happened to be in the suite next to Adalay Cabinets and Interiors, the company I am using to remodel my kitchen. Since I was there picking out cabinet pulls, I thought there was no harm checking out their appliance showroom. My first impression was that it was going to be too expensive. The showroom is just beautiful. The displays are state of the art - everything is current, stylish and modern. I spoke to Chris who is one of the salesmen there and told him what I was looking for. I already had the refrigerator picked out and knew what brand of dishwasher I wanted. I hadn't selected a stove or microwave yet, but knew the price range and features I wanted. He immediately took me to the GE products and they were perfect!
I went home and looked up the prices for all the products, checked the sales in Home Depot, Lowe's and Sears plus I went on-line and found the lowest prices on all the appliances. I also had a 10% off coupon from Home Depot and Sears was offering a rebate on GE appliances.
I got my numbers together and called Chris and told him what I'd found and he matched all the prices - including honoring my 10% Home Depot Coupon. He was also able to get the GE rebate. Since Custom Distributors does not carry the LG refrigerator I wanted, I thought I'd have to get it elsewhere, but Chris told me he could get it for me and match any price I found.
My remodeling was scheduled to begin more than a month from when I ordered the appliances, yet he was willing to honor those prices and hold my order until it was needed with my deposit.
I had my appliances delivered a bit earlier than I'd scheduled because my fridge and dishwasher were on the verge of death and I decided they could be easily removed for the remodel and reinstalled.
They're really beautiful. I'm looking forward to getting my new cabinets installed because the appliances make the rest of the kitchen look so shabby.
Custom Distributors isn't a place that does a lot of advertising and the name of the company is rather nondescript, but it is one of the best kept secrets in Tampa Bay. I would highy recommend them and will definately purchase from them again.
