I have an older (1987) Yamaha 150 HP outboard that had developed a gas restriction problem with one of the carburetors. I had taken it to two other marine repair shops who never even got close to finding the problem much less fixing it, although they didn't mind charging me exorbitantly for the service or lack thereof to the tune of around $500 a piece. Those ttwo shops are CC Marine and Land O' Lakes Marine in Land O' Lakes by the way and I'd highly recommend avoiding them.
Pete Slimak, the owner, actually came to my house 3 times and rode with me in the boat to help diagnose the problem and after much persistence, and trying many different alternatives, he solved the problem and the boat has run great ever since. He told me at the time that no outboard had ever beaten him and I'm proud to say that mine wasn't the first. Pete and his team are totally professional, courteous, and very communicative as to what they're trying to accompliush. I highly recommend them to anyone and they have me as a customer for life.

Overall this year I have spent about $600. Their pricing and turnaround times are really good. Their communication is good. There are a lot of boat dealerships out there and I have been to several. This company is very good. They have a nice facility and are clean and quick. They communicate well.

They were able to take my boat right away, helped me unhook it and move into position w/their forklift. Told me what to expect and kept in touch w/me during their work. Service was fast, affordable, my boat was returned to me clean. I will definitely go back!
