+ -1 moreI was initially impressed with the effort that was made to get the tree branches cut down however it was obvious that more work would need to be done in order to prepare the branches/limbs for removal. Most notable was how the sidewalk was completely blocked and that anyone walking in front of the house would not be able to use it. Also, the vertical fence post (and the one task I carefully explained needed to be completed most of all) remained laying on the ground a week later because of their failure to come back and finish what they'd already been paid to do.
Description of Work: In the wake of Hurricane Irma and the subsequent damage(s) that came as a result of the storm, an agreement was made with Mr. Peter Valitutto and a partner to help with the installation of a vertical fence post and the cutting-down and preparing for removal of some tree branches. After about an hour here on site, and (only) half the work being completed, Mr. Valitutto reported that he and his partner needed to leave in order to complete some work he had pending at another location. With the understanding that he and his partner would return later that afternoon (6:00 PM), Mr. Valitutto was paid $145 ($80 cash and $65 check). Needless to say, a few hours later neither Mr. Valitutto nor his partner showed up to complete their work. The fence post was installed by myself about a week later and the cutting/removal from the sidewalk of the large section(s) of uncut branches was completed by another contractor.
