My Brother printer head needed to be replaced. It was still under warrenty, so Brother paid for it. I took the printer to Computer Corner with full ink cartridges. I know they were full because I had never used the printer due to the the broken printer head. When Computer Corner returned my printer the cartridges were empty. I called Brother who said they supply Computer Corner with new cartridges that should be returned with the repaired printer. Brother filed a complaint and Computer Corner's response was that the returned the new cartridges to me---end of story, no discussion. So Computer Corner kept my new carthridges and I had to buy new ones for $45.00.

"On behalf of Computer Corner I apologize to the customer. I am sorry she did not receive her original ink cartridges back. When we install a new printhead Brother provides us with starter primer cartridges that are to be used to prime the new head - they are not the same as full new ink cartridges. We leave those cartridges in the machine to be used until they are empty and it our standard procedure to return any ink cartridges that were in a printer when it was brought in for repair. I am sorry that procedure was not followed for you. And I am sorry that whoever you spoke with here regarding the returning of your cartridges to you would not have offered to provide you with a new set of cartridges as we would most certainly have done so. If you wish to come by at your convenience I will be happy to provide you with a new set of ink cartridges for your future needs. Just let me know. Meryl Wormser"

He was very good. He loaded all the software. He took the time to save all my data. He came to my house and picked up the computer, then brought it back when he was finished. He was very informative. I would use him again if needed.

We had trouble finding Computer Corner, and so we called for directions. It turns out the shop is tucked behind a Checker s and a Jiffy Lube and not visible from the street. Once we were there, they quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad power supply and gave us a ball park estimate for the problem. They called us back four days later with the cost of the replacement part and asked if we wanted to get the work done (I m not sure why this took four days). The part arrived and the computer was fixed a week later. It seems to be working fine now.

What I liked was the personal service. They diagnosed it for free, I ordered the part and they told me I did not need as much work as I though. They knew my name, saved me money and were cost conscious.
