It was a nightmare. Poor design, no communication, a four day job took 3 months.

Terrible. They have done shoddy work, 6 months after payment made to Home Depot. Home Depot no longer uses this company, big surprise. Coastal will not respond in any way, no one will come to finish the work. Home Depot is trying to intervene but not having great success despite best efforts. It is the worst experience I have ever had with any contracting and it isn't done.

I will make this simple... Everything bad that one hears about a remodel project and contractor happen on this simple 1 1/2 bathroom and kitchen remodel (all small). Three county inspection failures, delays, bad subcontractors... even had three project managers let go during the project. The only saving grace we negotiated a discount on final price. No supervision of project. Project contract signed in July 201`6 project started late Sept 2016 and finished early April 2017. Estimate was 6 - 8 weeks to be done. How about it took almost 6 months. The project did get completed, but the quality is not in-line with the pricing. Additionally, I can not believe they are the go to Home Depot contractor in Tampa Bay for this type of project. I would not recommend using this company.

We signed a contract with the company at the end of Sept. 2016. We were visited by a contractor the next week and then heard nothing for a month. We contacted them at the end of October to see when the kitchen cabinets would be delivered. They lied and stated there was a 7 to 10 week delay from the manufacturer when in fact no cabinets were ordered until Nov 28th. Demo on the kitchen was done on January 3rd and the cabinets were delivered 2 days later. We were missing upper cabinets, had cabinets we did not want. The sub contractor left my home a mess each day. The correct cabinets were ordered and again the wrong size was ordered. We were going to keep the existing tile floor and they broke out tiles along the cabinets. My floor is ruined and we will have to replace not only the kitchen but this floor continues into my dining area and the bathroom. The granite company came out 2 times to template and the base cabinets were not plumb or even. My husband called to have someone come out to fix the issues and we had no response. My husband fixed the issue and the granite was then templated. We again reached out to Coastal for timeline and received no response from them. As of March 10th, we fired them for failure to complete the contract in a timely and correct manner. I now have to fix the poor paint job and finish my kitchen.
