Chilly Performance is a family owned and operated automotive repair shop in Tampa, FL. Chilly Performance performs repairs and maintenance on all makes and models, but specializes in late model air cooled Porsches. In addition to performing general repairs and maintenance on daily driven vehicles, Chilly Performance also builds, maintains and repairs race/track event cars. A performance car is an automobile that is designed and constructed specifically for speed. The design and construction of a performance car involves not only providing a capable power train but also providing the handling and braking systems to support it. There is a great deal of overlap between performance cars and sports cars, but not all performance cars are sports cars, and not all sports cars are performance cars.

We were able to drop the car of first thing the next morning. The personnel were very professional and courteous. They did not try to sell us anything extra (they could have sold us the catalytic converter and we wouldn't have known). We are very impressed with this shop and will bring both cars there for any future maintenance and service needed. We have finally found our mechanic!

They are good, I like them. They got me a brand new battery. They didn't fix anything extra just to get more money out of me. They don't upsell. I like them because they know so much about cars. You tell them the year and make of a Toyota and they'll tell you what typically goes wrong with those car. They are really goodand very knowledgeable. They used the be race car people and they're from South Africa. It's a family-owned business. They're very honest. They are not cheap but they are good.
