"Thank you and I'm glad you like your new backsplash."
We had to remove the original oak parquet from our guest bedroom because of water damage. The baseboards and some of the wood under the plaster walls had also been ripped out so everything would dry. The adhesive under the flooring was sticky tar. It was a total mess!
We bought tile similar to the wood floor color in the rest of the house and called Brian for an estimate. We know Brian does quality work because he installed wood plank tile in our kitchen. He knows how to set tile close together to minimize the grout line. He also staggers the pattern so it looks more like wood.
Brian explained he would deal with the black tar by encapsulating it with a skim coat. Fortunately, he was able to work us into his schedule to do the skim coat pretty quick. Then he returned and in 2 days laid all the tile in the room & closet, grouted, installed new baseboards and the transition threshold. He needed to replace some of the boards under the plaster walls to attach the baseboards so he also made a trip to the store, purchased the wood and installed it for us.
It was hard to lose the original wood floor but Brian did a great job with the plank tile and we are pleased with the end result.
"Thank you it was nice working for you again and I'm glad you are pleased with your project."

This is the 2nd job Brian has done for us. He did a similar job to a previous home we owned. Both jobs were excellent, well priced, and crafted with pride by Brian and his helper. We get CONSTANT complements on his work and it truly makes a huge difference in the curb appeal and value of our home. I would highly recommend Brian because he is professional about the business side but then also a talented and conscientious craftsman with his trade.
"Thanks for the review and it was a pleasure doing work for you again. look forward to doing more !"
He is a highly skilled craftsman, using the latest in leveling and spacing methods and materials. But he stills has to bring a very high level of expertise and skill to the work. All the grout lines are small and perfect and line up from floor to shower floor to shower walls. He recommended and installed a Schluter edging system that really completed the job. He made sure that all surfaces drained water correctly. On two tiles around the window in the shower, to make the job symmetrical, he cut in two fake grout lines. It's details like that that make us call him for every tile job we have have. We have another bath coming up in a month or two, but we can wait until he's available. We're not using anyone else.
Everyday he put the progress of our job on his Facebook for his fans and friends to follow. He's rightly proud of his good work.
"Thansk and it's always a pleasure to work for good customers who know what they want. I just make it happen for them! :-)"
Brian returned today. Tiled my laundry room with the same attention to detail. The level of service from Brian is amazing. Not your typical contractor, for sure. Above and beyond on this small job. I appreciate the excellent customer service

I was pleased so with Brian's work ethic and how he and his helper conducted themselves at my home that I had Brian return and complete a kitchen backsplash for me.
Brian was knowledgeable about the processes and procedures and very professional. He did a very good job. I could tell when he was finished that he was proud of his work, too. I would definitely hire Brian again without reservation.
"Thank you for the nice report. It was my pleasure doing your tile at your place in Bradenton, Florida"
