Carolina Carports

It went very poorly. The communication was nonexistent. They came out and took the measurements, the man who came out, I guess he's the salesman, suggested we might want to think about doing it without permit, which is illegal. And then just leaving us with the likelihood of having the city complain or whatever. So I didn't like that. We already made a 10% down. Now, part of the delay had to do with the fact that we chose to get a permit, which then we also had to get a variance. And that process took until the end of February. But in between, it was very difficult getting the architectural plan. The salesman promised to mail this or that, we had to call several times, finally got the right architectural plans. Once we got the variance approved, then we had to do the permit process. It turns out that he had to pick up the permit then schedule. He promised to schedule and call us, two weeks went by, nobody called. We called the main office, the lady said she'd make sure he called us, nobody called, we finally called Carolina car port, directly gave them our permit number, and got scheduled to have the car port put up. But once the guy at Carolina Carports had made the contract, the service was terrible. I guess that guy has worked there for a long time and maybe he had issues going on in his life, I don't know, but even after calling them in this, nothing changed. I think they weren't very good at all.

The crew was later than promised , but worked very fast when they started.
