showed up when he said, knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it promptly.

Overall he performed all work to my satisfaction and I use Brian on a regular basis.

We could hear water running and knew there was a leak.  We had to turn the water on & off at the city meter to minimize the damage.  Brian came to the house on a Saturday and again on Sunday to try to help us.  Although he was pretty sure the leak was under the bathroom vanity he could not say with 100% certainty.  He gave us the names of a couple leak detection services and that turned out to be great advice.  Once we had the leak isolated, Brian returned and fixed the pipe.  To do this he had to dig a hole about 4 feet deep in the hallway to be able to get in, see the pipe and complete his work.  Nonetheless, he managed to keep damage to the floor to a minimum.   We have found Brian to be a good plumber, an honest person and his rates are very reasonable.

Brian & his son are terrific plumbers. They listened to our description of the problem and determined possible causes. They began by snaking from the roof but hit an obstacle that prevented their equipment from reaching far enough. It was necessary for them to remove the toilet in order to run their equipment from that point. They were extremely cautious about cleanliness and everyone appreciates that! Also, we did not know where the clean-out cap was in the backyard and they located it for us. The shower seemed to be draining fine when they left, but it immediately started backing up again the next time it was used. Brian had warned us that the problem could be in the drain pipe between the bathroom and the main pipe leaving the house to the city sewer. I called Brian & he's been back twice trying everything he could think of to fix this. He brought 2 smaller snakes to try from the roof again. He opened the clean-out pipe in the backyard to make sure water was draining and put a new cap on it at no charge. In fact he never charged us for anything after their first visit. The shower is still unusable at this point because there is apparently a dip, crown or break in the pipe. Next we need to have a camera fished through the drain to identify the exact problem. Brian has done everything he could to fix this without this added expense but we will definitely have him fix whatever problem the camera process discovers.
