The initial appointment for an estimate along with the estimate went very quickly and smoothly; however, once I made payment of half of the costs of the project no timeline was ever met.
The initial timeline came and went. We left phone messages, emails and texts and in most cases never received responses. Each time we asked questions about an updated timeline we had something else quietly delivered to our driveway.
We actually had a small dozer along with all of the bricks in our driveway for a week before any work was completed. The second week (now a week behind) one or two workers would show up and take out pieces of the existing cement, then quietly depart without any discussion of an update timeline for completion or a date / time when they would return. In most cases the lead did not speak English.
At the end of the second week, we told them not to return and we began negotiating with another contractor. They promised to finish the work on the third week and the entire crew completed all of the paving in a day and a half.
This speedy work cost in the long run.
We noticed bricks sinking after about a week and we called to get repairs - the lead came out (again while we weren't home) and my neighbor observed him picking up dirt and grass in my yard to put under the sunken bricks. Needless to say it didn't work. We figured out later that the bricks and the cement holding them in on the boundaries were covering 6 of our sprinklers.
We have contacted the "Brick Paver Showroom" also known as "Décor Pavers" and "Outdoor Kitchen and Grills" - all at the same Tampa Florida address, but have received no response to day.

I found Brick Paver Showroom to be a great company to do business with in Tampa. They were easy to schedule an initial appointment with and completed the job in a timely manner . Most important to me was the staff. They worked hard and did a beautiful job. Special thanks to the office staff (most contact with Cheryl). She was excellent in her job as "middle man", keeping me informed, answering all my questions and aware of the timeline. She was very responsive and seem to keep all the balls in the air.
Nice job Brick Pavers!!!

The job was not correct at first, which was a communication error between the salesman and the workers. The downspout was supposed to run under the pavers in the originally instillation, but was missed plus the original paver arrangement and placement was not what was agreed to.
They came back to correct the arrangement/placement error and place the downspout under the pavers quickly. Unfortunately the
compressed ground was disturbed when they placed the downspout under the pavers and the pavers started sagging in a few months along the line of the tubing for the downspout. I stopped in at the business and the order was place for a repair just prior to Christmas. The repair was completed in a few weeks.
The job is beautiful, functional and all is well. Plus they extended my warranty by one year for the inconvenience.
I did not have any problems with getting the errors corrected. Cheryl, the office manager, is on top of the business and is a delight to work with. Good common sense and kind.

From the very beginning communication was difficult. Explaining what I wanted vs what was done remained a problem throughout the installation. The first day was wasted as the tile laid on the side of the pool was done incorrectly and had to be re-done. After that, the pavers and the pattern/shape in which they were applied was not done in a proper manner and had to be replaced. In the 3 days since the job has been completed, at least 23 pavers from around the edge of the pool have seperated and will need to be re-set. E-mails, text messages and photos have been sent to company informing them of the problems(s) but no response has been received.
Response from Brick Paver Showroom
"We did everything in our power to make client happy. We changed the design of front entrance free of charge. We did a beautiful pool deck and front entrance. He has given us permission in the past, to show other potential clients the beautiful job we did for him."
