Scott arranged tile installation on short notice and had a crew out that worked Saturday, Sunday and Monday to accommodate our tight schedule timeline. The finished product is amazing!

Scott was great, on time and gave a lot of feedback.  
He was easy to work with and great at his job

I was pleasantly pleased with the end results of all the chores listed I wanted done.  John contacted me earlier in the week to confirm that date and time that he was to be here.  We made small talk and I gave him an idea of some of the things that I wanted done so that he would be well prepared to complete them.  He acknowledged and indicated that those tasks would be no problem.  On the day I had scheduled, John contacted me that morning to say that he was on his way and would arrive by the designated time.  When also called when he was only a few miles away.  Once he arrived, John greeted me with a big smile and a firm handshake. I showed him the garage floor, the task that I thought would take up the most time.  We talked about how best to get it completed.  I showed him all the items that I had purchased to get it done.  First, he showed me how to use the caulking gun and apply the caulk and we had a few laughs about my inexperience.  As I showed him the garbage disposal, I forgot to take all the items out of the cabinet so that he could get there to repair it (oops).  He just smile and help me get the items out. I gave him the new disposal that I had purchased to replaced, but he indicated that he wanted to look at it first to determine if it needed to be replaced or just repaired.  WOW, he saved me $100, I took the garbage disposal back.  
While he was repairing the disposal, I was applying the caulk, degreased the grease spots and washed down the garage floor.  He than went on to the next task, changing the bulbs in the lights.  The light fixtures are located in the back underneath the roof which requires a really tall ladder.  I gave him the replacement lights and he changed them, explaining to me how to handle the sensitive bulbs for longevity.  Then, he tackled the garage floor, by then it had mostly dried.  He made priming and painting the garage floor seem so easy.  When it was finished, I absolutely loved it.  While the floor was drying, I showed him where the toilets were leaking.  He gave me an overview about how the piece works (I still have no clue) and suggested that I change it to make it more efficient and stop leaking.  While the floor was drying, he purchased the items needed, replaced them and then showed me that all were working properly.  We then cut the dead palm leaves.
 
John was great, he walked me through everything that he did, explaining what was done to make it all better, showed me that everything was all working properly and ask if there was anything else he could do.  I was absolutely pleased with the work that John performed and he had a greatly personality to boot.  It was worth every penny requested on Angie's List.  I also must mention, he traveled 1.5 hours to get to my house and did not complain about the driving distance.....NOW that's what I call service with a smile.   I would highly recommend SGM Handyman's Service to anyone!!!!!

He arrived.  I told him what was needed.  He told me he thought he could do all the items on my list in the one day...he was wonderful, polite, and VERY nice!

They installed 2 light fixtures in the ceiling and 4 ceiling fans. They also assembled 3 different dimension shelves. They did a great job.

Scott was great.  He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all of my home repairs.   He worked quickly and cleaned up after every project.  I thought he was wonderful.  He also looked at some other projects I need to have done around the house and gave me quotes.  He is coming back in two weeks to repair my sliding glass door and place dimmers on two of my light switches.

Arrived on time, gave honest assessments of the work that needed to be done, went straight to work and worked continuously (other than a short lunch break) for 8 hours. Organized his projects well so he had no down time. Cleaned up after each completed project. We are very happy with the results and have asked him to come back for additional work. Knowledgeable, friendly, industrious, professional.

I called Scott to do some house repairs that had been piling up. He showed up on time and was able to get all the work done in a timely manner. I was very happy with how professional he was the whole time and how he took the extra effort to keep my house clean. My list included replacing a fan, replacing a garbage disposal, fixing a few broken tiles and patching some holes in my bedroom wall. Everything turned out just as I wanted it and for a good price. I would highly recommend using him.

Scott has done a great job for me the several times I've had him over. He has been very professional and hard working even when the job was small. He has always been very punctual and keeps the area very clean when he is working and after he is done. My husband and Scott painted the outside of my house and with the air compressor Scott used they got the whole thing done in a long day. I was really impressed with how professional he was the whole time and he was even able to adjust my bedroom doors so they don't rub. I thought I was going to have to replace them. He said he could replace them for me but being able to fix them saved me quite a bit of money. I definitely recommend him and will hire him in the future
