BK Clean & Restore, Horizon Carpet Cleaning

The guy came out with his girlfriend and did a reasonable job on the carpets.  Then he went to work on the tile, but his girlfriend was anxious to leave and go to dinner for his birthday.  He sold me a sealing job on the spot (i had not originally planned to have that done.)  Although his girlfriend did not appear to be happy about the extra delay.  He ended up leaving dirty water on the grout, which he then proceeded to seal over.  When everything dried the next day, there was sealed in dirt, ,and obviously the sealer was not right as I had white plastic-like film on the grout lines that was already peeling away.

When he came back out to try and fix it, he admitted he used the wrong sealer, and was unable to remove it.  He brought his brother and wife along to help dig the sealer up, which in the process, they dug up grout with it.

I ended up spending the next 9 months fighting with the manager to get me a SKILLED person to come and fix the floor.  He said he subcontracts out, so the guy that did the work was responsible for it, not the company.

So at the end of the 9 month fight, the guy came back out with his brother to re-grout the floor, which ended up being a horrible job, and my floor is now ruined because of it.

This was by far the worst experience I have had working with a business and though the guy tried to make it right, I still have a ruined floor that will cost me thousands to re-do.

Hired them to clean stains out of my carpet and deep scrub (hand brush and squirt bottle) traffic areas. They do not have truck mounted equipment. The stains were worse after cleaning and said that it would go away after it dried, it did not. The 18x18 test area dried and was yellow in color afterwards. Everything that this company cleaned was worse than before. I called and cancelled payment of $300.00. After a few calls to Scott at the office they were rude and belligerent and not very helpful at all. They are threatening to send me to collections. They told me I got what I paid for. They are sending their stain specialist out on Monday but they will want payment for services and I will not know what carpet looks like until it is dried. I feel as if they do a "bait and switch" tactic to sale you more unneeded services that you really don't need.

THE COMPANY ADVERTISED LOW PRICES, BUT ONCE THE CLEANERS ARRIVED THEY PROCEEDED TO PRESSURE US INTO BUYING ADDITIONAL OPTIONS, STATING THE BASIC CLEANING WILL NOT WORK IN OUR CASE, BUT "DEEP SCRUB" WILL MAKE THE CARPET LOOK NEW. AFTER THE CARPET DRIED, MOST STAINS CAME BACK. THE COMPANY OFFERED TO COME BACK OUT AND "TOUCH UP" USING THE SAME PROCESS (WHICH FAILED THE FIRST TIME). THEY WOULD NOT DISCUSS ANY COMPENSATION AND BECAME SARCASTIC, EVENTUALLY HANGING UP EVEN THOUGH I REMAINED POLITE THROUGHOUT.

He claimed that we lied about the tech reporting back to us, refused to provide any solutions or assistance, at times laughed at our frustration, refused to let us speak with another manager, refused to provide us with any information on the companys management or location and eventually told us to find a lawyer before hanging up on them. We have repeatedly called the company and no return calls or any assistance has been provided to repair the damage. They have also failed to honor the Dupont agreement to clean any spot that penetrates the fibers within one year.
