Description of Work: We were referred to this company by our next-door neighbor when we wanted to convert our pool from chlorine to salt. Could not be happier with service. Saves my husband who is not in good health from lugging all those heavy chlorine jugs around and our pool is healthier. We were loaned the equipment and just pay for the monthly maintenance.

Description of Work: Had the salt water system put in and very satisfied with results. They keep the pool balanced incredibly well. Also very happy with their pool repairs that have had to been made periodically. This company is as honest as they come...I would fly their banner any time.

+ -1 moreA SERVICEMAN FROM BAY AREA POOLS COMES TO MY HOUSE ONCE A WEEK TO CHEMICALLY TREAT MY 19,000 GALLON POOL. HE TESTS MY WATER AND THEN PROVIDES ALL CHEMICALS NECESSARY TO KEEP MY POOL WATER BALANCED AND CLEAN. I PAY $39.00 A MONTH FOR THIS SERVICE, HOWEVER, OTHERS MAY PAY MORE OR LESS DEPENDING ON THEIR POOL SIZE. THE COMPANY ALSO OFFERS MANUAL POOL CLEANING AT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE. SEVERAL TIMES I'VE CALLED FOR A PROBLEM WITH MY EQUIPMENT. THEY PROVIDED SPEEDY SERVICE AND WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THE AREA OF REPAIRS. IN ADDITION, WHEN A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, THEY OFFER A DISCOUNT TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Description of Work: I JUST MOVED TO ST PETE AND USED THEM SINCE THE PREVIOUS OWNERS SEEMED PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE. THEY DID NOT PROPERLY CLEAN POOL TO MY EXPECTATIONS. WHEN I CALLED THEY SENT SOMEONE OUT AND IT WAS RECLEANED. THE FOLLOWING WEEK I WATCHED THE POOL GUY CLEAN THE POOL AND HE WAS IN AND OUT IN LESS THAN TWO MINUTES. I HAD TO RESCRUB THE POOL MYSELF. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Description of Work: We called to discontinue service with them after using them for 2 yrs. Two weeks ago we called for a "Spring check up" for $65. Their technician came out last week and replaced $200 worth of cracked casting and housings. No one called us to discuss this. No one asked for permission to do the work. When my husband called to question what had happened, noting that the bill stated a "customer approval number", he was told that the former owner lad left permission to repair any deficiencies without their permission. (We know that is untrue, because the former owners told us it took 3 calls & 4 visits from the the pool service to repair the sand filter.)
