Bay Area Pool Service & Pool Troopers

I used to have many people coming for cleaning our poor, but I found out that they all used some chemical that we did not like. I have finally find this company that changed the pool, because they used some chemicals that are great with the skin, the eyes, and even the body. They were also cheaper and the other guys. I called them back, and they were very patient with me. They made me think to make my pool better and to improve my pool services. They did the job right. They show up on time, just a man, that I fought stupid, however, he provided me to be very well with better results. Overall, I will give them an A.

I have been using Bay Area Pool Service since 2008. They have been very reliable in keeping my pool maintained. They also have handled repairs when needed. The service was always done promptly with high quality.

They have been professional, punctual and the service has been without issue. I would definitely recommend them to someone looking for a pool service.

We tried to take care of our inground pool ourselves but we didn't have a clue! A friend recommended Bay Area and we couldn't be happier with them. They provide a salt filter for free as long as you retain their services, so much nicer than chlorine. They monitor the chemicals and backwash the filter when necessary. Last summer we kept getting black algae in the pool when we had those torrential storms but all we did was give them a call and they were right on it. The monthly fee is about what we were paying in chemical costs and they do all the work- so much nicer.

UPDATE After I posted this review Bay Area Pool Service immediately contacted us. They sent a supervisor out with the tech to clean it up. Supervisor followed up three times personally to make sure everything was going. They really stepped it up to make it right. Not well...algae seems to be spreading instead of getting better. Have had to notify them three time. They are prompt to respond, but have not fixed the problem

Bay Area Pools has been wonderful to work with. We met with them when we purchased our home. We have never had a pool before and wanted information about maintaining the system. They provided a variety of options and we chose to use their Premium Pool Chemical Service. They installed a salt chlorine generator and come bi-weekly to check the levels and maintain the chemicals. Our pool looks great and is ready to use year-round.

They did a great job plus would recommend to anyone. Very happy with the service so far.

LOOKS GREAT! Bay Area Pool Service already does a great job with our regular bi-weekly pool chemicals and bi-monthly filter cleaning. So when we decided to list our home for sale, they were the obvious choice to spruce up our pool for showing it off!

They were excellent! They found some issues with our pool, one of them a big safety issue. They were able to give us quotes on the work that needed to be done and performed the service right away. We had another pool service for the last 3 years and they never mentioned anything about any of these issues! Now our pool is running much more efficiently. I also had to call the office to ask a question re; billing and they were so nice! The above cost of service was for all our repairs. The monthly charge to clean our pool is $78.50.

Everything went great! Dan came to our home to provide us information regarding setting up monthly service. Dan was prompt and professional - Bay Area came out and installed the saline chlorine system as promised, on schedule. The weekly service started shortly thereafter, we are extremely pleased with all aspects of our interactions with Bay Area Pool Service!

The price was reasonable and our pool water is fabulous. We had a referral from a friend, that's how we found them. Everything that they said that they would do, they have done. I just wish that the same service person came each time so I wouldn't have to show a new guy how to open the gate.

In sum, the problem was identified. I was notified to ensure I wanted the repair of the check valve done. They scheduled the non-critical repair. Called me a day in advance to make us aware even though access to the interior of the home wasn't required. Came as per the appt. and did the work.....neatly and cleanly for $136 including parts and service.

I had my pool pump replaced by them last week. The young man that came out was friendly and replaced the pump in the pouring down rain. It didn't seem to dampen his spirits at all. He came to the door soaking wet when he had finished with a smile on his face. He asked if I wanted to come outside and check it before he left. It was still raining so I declined. A couple of days later I called to let them know there was a low grade vibration that was coming into the house from the pump. I couldn't even sit in the great room and read the paper. They sent Rich out and an assistant and they took care of it. It is quiet as can be now. Turns out an armadillo had dug under the pad causing it to be uneven which caused the vibration. Both Rick and his associate where friendly and helpful and didn't leave until I was entirely satisfied. I have used Bay Area Pool Service since they did the interior finish on my pool some years ago. I have never been disappointed with their service. They are reasonably priced for the quality of work they do. My tech Will is always pleasant and answers my questions with a smile.

The experience has been positive. They are very professional and very responsive. It is a pretty good deal. The price includes the dechlorinator and chemicals. We vacuum our pool and they take care of all the chemicals and hardware.

The man that came out for the service, Cesar, was very friendly and knowledgable. He worked very quickly and returned several more times when he said he would to ensure everything was perfect. When I initially called to schedule the appointment, they could get someone over in two days. I was never charged until the pool was completely cleaned and running right. I think he got the pool running better than when I bought the house seven years ago. I will be using them for monthly service now too.

They changed our pool from Chlorine to salt and it was a very reasonable price. They are great and very knowledgeable. The pool looks fantastic and better than it ever worked. The guy that came out was very informative and told me many things I didn't know about. They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to anyone.

They are excellent because they can actually diagnose any problems with your pool water. They have a self chlorinator that I use with a subscription to their services. It is wonderful because I don't have any problems with my pool chemicals. It keeps the water clear and you aren't tasting salt all the time.

Called for a service visit, and they are not taking on new customers unless you also get their pool maintenance service. Do not waste your time calling them since they are not taking new customers.

This company does a great job making sure that they communicate throughout the process.

Since switching over to a salt system, our pool always looks great. They come twice a month to check the pool and add whatever is needed. If the pool starts looking off color, a call to the office results in a technician coming out in a day or 2 and the pool is looking great again!!! No more chemicals around the house, no more countless trips to a pool supply store trying to the the right balance!

They come every other week. Wonderful so far.

When we first purchased our house, the pool had been neglected and looked like a swamp. Bay Area Pool Service cleaned it to a sparkling clear blue, and now come twice a month for cleaning and twice a month for salt and chemical balancing (four visits each month). The salt system was installed by them soon after we moved in, at no cost to us. After we had the pool refinished by another company, water continued to leak from the pool. Bay Area Pool Service tested all areas where a leak could occur and determined it was behind the underwater light fixture. They repaired it quickly and at a reasonable cost, and we haven't experienced any further loss of pool water, saving us money on our monthly water bill. In addition, their customer service is outstanding, keeping us informed of all services provided. We are not locked into a long-term contract (we pay them month to month), and we can cancel at any time. However, Bay Area Pool Service is so terrific that we have absolutely no plans to do so. We would recommend Bay Area Pool Service to anyone.
