Excellent organization! Rob gave a prompt quote, very well priced for the move and the temporary storage, and communicated the entire time. Don't hesitate to use them. It will be done right and carefully the first time.

Bay Area Transport did an excellent job and I highly recommend them! This is the second time that they have moved us and I will definitely be using them again if needed. Rob and his crew took extremely great care moving my items including antique furniture that has been in my family for generations. They were honest, professional, friendly, on-time, and efficient.

Not only incredibly quick and efficient but packed a few last minute boxes for me! Very professional, courteous and put everything in its proper place as requested. The estimate and price was right in line with what I'd planned without any hidden or "extra fees" which I've observed other moving companies try to do. Definitely an A++ experience. I would recommend Bay Area Transport for your move in a heartbeat. You will not be disappointed!

Over all it was not bad, but I encountered two issues. 1- Truck was not big enough to move the entire storage units. I had given exact number of boxes, etc. that had to be moved. Thus they had to make 2 trips and since I was being charged by the hour, it cost a lot more than 2- Movers were not wearing masks or shoe covers. That was very concerning to me.

The movers James and Matt were top notch and had my back. They get a 5 star rating and I would recommend asking for them as your movers. The Owner needs to be a tad more organized. I sent an email per his request about from where I was moving and to where. I clearly specified I was moving from a townhome to a 1st floor apartment. I had to follow up with my email a week later to make sure he got it. He finally found it. Day before the scheduled move, he called me to say movers would be there between 8 and 8:30 am. I had scheduled an early afternoon move as I could not get my keys until 11 am the morning of the move. So no, the move is to be in the afternoon I told him. That was corrected. As I am at my new place to get keys, my son calls and say movers are there at old place. Thought he was joking but he was not. Their first move got done sooner than expected. Ok, that is not the fault of James or Matt but it sent me into a panic, could hardly do a thorough walk through at my new home. When I told James about all of the circumstances, they were super cool about it. I have to be thankful their smaller truck was on the fritz as their records said I was moving from a 1 BR apt. Last I knew or have never known, a townhome is not just a 1 BR place. I also told James I was not paying extra for someones "F" up" which was promptly told to the Owner as the Owner was going to bring in a 3rd person, which was not necessary. All I can say is confirm, reconfirm and reconfirm with the Owner. James and Matt were awesome and they each got a good tip. I would hire James and Matt again in a heartbeat. Message to the Owner, get your act together. Thank you.
