Bay Home Inspections immediately answered when I contacted him thru Angies's List. I made the appointment two weeks afterwards, so my sister and me could be there. The appointment was for June 8th at 2 pm. Bay Home Inspections was on time for the appointment. It was a crew of two people, a man and a women. He told us the inspection will take around two hours. He would do the exterior and the woman the interior. They covered every SQ feet of the house and made an excellent report of what they found with pictures. They recommended a mold inspection do to water leaks, and the repair of the roof, which is in really bad conditions. In addition, recommended painting the house after the roofing as when he put his hand, the hand was full of paint dust. On the detailed report, he describes with pictures what needs to be repaired or budget for future replacement as the electric water heater because of its age. We are very happy with the work they did. We needed a qualified inspector to do the inspection, to learn from a professional point of view what needed to be done and prioritize the work. He also told me that if we have any questions regarding the order of the work that needs to be done, he could give his advice. Bay Home Inspections, is a professional company, which delivered what they said in and timely manner. The report as delivered the following day of the inspection. We couldn't be more pleased with Michael's inspection!  It was very very thorough including pictures of issues that he found.  It gave us a much better picture of what we would be facing if we purchase the home.  The amount of detail was amazing.  Since I am not from the area, I had a follow up call with Michael with some questions about what my expectations should be for a house in Florida of this age.  He was generous with his time in helping me to have deeper knowledge about this.  I would recommend Michael to anyone and would definitely use him again.  He was delightful to deal with, punctual, a strong communicator, and the service was a great value.
