Work was done promptly and for the agreed upon price. Certainly not a "discount" A/C repair but you get what you pay for. Ben did the repair the right way and stands behind his work. He explained the entire process and even took me out to the car while on the lift to show me what they were doing.

I wish I could give this place Ten stars. I can't express enough, how grateful I am for Ben and his shop. Everyone that works here is super friendly and personable. These guys are experts that are honest, knowledgeable, and offer super fast service. My girlfriend and I just arrived in Florida the night before, traveling from our flooded home near Houston, Texas (thanks to hurricane Harvey). On our way across the country my a.c. completely went out. I quickly discovered and chose Ben's shop based on the overwhelming amount of 5 star feedback and reviews. No amount of perfectly worded reviews about Ben and his shop can come close to doing justice to the character and heart these guys have. When it was all said and done, Ben completly rebuilt my entire ac system and refused to let me pay a dime. He said that it was his way of donating to the cause for Houston. Shops and service like this are one in a million. Hats off to Ben and his team.

Honest and professional. Although I needed freon, Ben thoroughly explained what had caused the leak and possibly weakened the compressor. He gave suggestions that I could do myself to avoid unnecessarily replacing it. It's been about 1.5 months and the A/C is still working great! Very honest, very professional and the service was fast. I will definitely go back!

My entire experience with Ben at Auto Air By Ben was nothing short of pleasurable. He answered my call right away and helped me make an appointment on a day and time that was convenient for me. When I brought my car in, he actually looked at it 15 minutes before my appointment and within 15-20 minutes he had a diagnosis for what was wrong. The best part was the quote: $900 to fix everything, including the labor. This price was $600 LESS than any other quote I had gotten for the same repair. This is a big deal to me, especially because Volkswagens are typically really expensive to have repairs done. What's more is that Ben was able to fix my car the same day! Unheard of. I picked my car up 6 hours later to have perfectly working A/C. Ben was kind, courteous, and efficient. He even repeatedly offered me water while I waited for my transportation after dropping the car off. I would recommend Ben to everyone, and I certainly plan to. And any time my car breaks and he's got the equipment to fix it, you had better believe I will be bringing it to him. Ben runs his own local business and his goal is to treat his customers well, and that clearly shows in his honest work. I will forever be a loyal customer here.

Perfect.  Ben was terrific.  Nice guy, super professional, on time for repair completion AND he shows you a video on his cell phone of the work that he did. No question that he did the work.  My car dash was totally dismantled and in many pieces for the work that had to be done and the video documented this.  Would go back to him any time even though his shop is a 30 minute drive from our house.

The work done on the car was excellent. I drive from Largo to this shop because I trust them to be honest in assessing what the problem is and fixing it.

When my car's air conditioner stopped working, I brought it to Auto Air by Ben. The symptoms were similar to compressor failure and I was expecting an expensive repair, but living in Florida it is worth it to have air conditioning, especially in the summer. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed and blowing very cold air in less than 30 minutes. Ben could have told me that it needed a compressor or other expensive repair, but he is very honest, professional and reasonable. This is the third time that my wife and I have brought our cars to Ben and we are always pleasantly surprised at how quick, honest and fair he is.

I needed to get my parent's car's air conditioner repaired. It hasd been diagnosis as having a seized compressor. Of the 3 shops that I contacted, Ben had the lowest cost, and was also the nicest person on the phone, especially with regards to explaining things.
Unfortunately, the car was sold and quot;as isand quot;, so the air conditioning repair will have to be done by the new owner.

Ben from Auto Air by Ben Company does good work. His prices are reasonable. He runs the auto place all by himself. I would recommend him to others. He is good. I would continue to use his services in the future.
