Artistic Windows is perfectly named. From the first meeting to the final install each step was well communicated and performed with precision and professionalism. Scott and his team have certainly earned their reputation of being THE place to call for window treatments in South Tampa.
Their pricing and knowledge of the shutter industry was a large part of my decision to select Artistic Windows... it was an excellent choice. I will be grateful to them for years.

Scott and his staff are absolutely wonderful to work with.  He came to our house with lots of ideas and suggestions.  He's very professional and accessible. He worked with us as to what would look great, while working within our budget. His work was impeccable -- he created the most beautiful window treatment for a large, arched window that is absolutely stunning and unique. He is not a designer who tries to push his own taste on you; he listens to figure out what look you are hoping to achieve, and makes suggestions from there.  And, if you do not have an idea of what you think will work best, he is full of great ideas. I highly recommend Artistic Windows, and plan to have them back again next year when we do some more updating in our home.

Everything has went as planned the shuttlers are to be installed in September.

First visit, worked me in on my schedule, looked at sliding glass door treatments and valence in the living room.  Looked through lots of materials and was friendly and knowledgeable.  Called back and ordered valence, price was a little steeper than I expected, I probably would not have done anything except I had bought an Angie's List Big Deal.  Came out  and installed the valence and I LOVE IT.  It has changed the room.  Looks great.

Scott was very professional and extremely helpful. He listened to what I had in mind and offered very helpful ideas. He and his staff were on time and if there a delay, they called and kept me informed.

Every aspect of the service from initial consultation to the final installation was excellent. 
The window treatment is gorgeous and all the people involved in Artistic Windows are professional and cordial. A truly excellent firm.

Scott Sowder and his company were a joy to work with.  I was redecorating my condo and needed to replace the ugly old vertical blinds with new window treatments on 5 windows/doors in four different rooms, including two sets of large sliding glass doors. He came to my condo with samples and helped me pick the best options (which turned out to be two different types of window shades, some with black-out backing).  These are very sturdy shades and I felt the pricing was very competitive.  He and his assistant were extremely responsive, including working with me to change the date of installation when a conflict arose, and also making a second trip to my place to adjust one of the shades that had a sort of design flaw (no fault of Scott's).  I would certainly work with them again.

The delivery was delayed by a week, but Scott offered to compensate.  The final delivery was finished without a problem.  Adam and Peter were punctual, professional and tidy.  They worked without a break.  I am overjoyed by the results

They installed the blind in my bathroom and realized that I would have to step in the tub to use the drawstring to open or close the blinds. The technician went the extra mile and left the blind up and ordered a new blind to fix the issue. I thought he did a great job!

I had used Artistic Windows in 2003 to design and install draperies and blinds for a new home we were building.  He spent time with me choosing fabrics and deciding on a design for each window.
I called him again in November 2013 as we had moved  and needed to have window treatments for two rooms - one being the dinette area that had a large window and the other being two extremely large sliding glass doors located in the living/dining room area.
I made an appointment with Scott and he again spent time with me going over fabrics, colors and design options.  Because of the late afternoon sun, we also needed to have sun shades installed in these two rooms that would be hidden behind the window treatments and could be pulled down as needed.  
The results turned out just as I had expected - excellent!.  His service and individualized attention is what makes each project he undertakes a winner.   He is meticulous about detail and has a good eye for color and design which puts me at ease when making decisions.

Scott is excellent to work with.  He listened to our needs, viewed our home and furnishings and guided us appropriately and beautifully.  We are thrilled with the selections.  They are what we needed and they are gorgeous.  I recommend Scott and Artistic Windows without reservation.

A beautiful window treatment can really pull a room together, and if you want spectacular results, use Artistic Windows!  I contacted Scott to explain my decor and what I was looking for to replace the vertical blinds on my family room double door.  He promptly responded, set up an appointment, and spent ample time in my home going over fabric and various options.  He was patient and very helpful while I made my selections.  Scott obviously enjoys helping his clients express their taste within their home.  He does all that he can to provide that "little something extra" that makes you feel more like a friend than a customer.  The installers for Artistic Windows were just as wonderful.  They arrived on time as scheduled, were very courteous, and extremely
professional.  As the installation progressed, I enjoyed watching as my average room transformed into a beautiful and cozy environment.  I'm already looking forward to having Artistic Windows create another fabulous design for my bedroom area.  Trust your home to Artistic Windows, and I promise from personal experience that you will be happy!

I got to Artistic Windows via Angie's List.  We were not disappointed!  Scott came out with a colleague and we went through some books to find the solar shades that would be best for our decor and our need to screen out the sun (western exposure).  Scott even came with me to a neighbor's apartment to see her shades because those were the ones I wanted and we wanted to make sure that the correct ones were ordered.
Everything went very smoothly.  Adam installed the shades today and they look great.
Scott is a true professional.  He called the day before to confirm the appointment (vendors who do this always get extra points in my book).  Scott is very customer-oriented and I would highly recommend his company.

Scott and his assistant came to our house for an appointment to see what we needed in the order of blinds.  He spent a lot of time measuring and making suggestions as to the best product for our needs.  We then ordered Hunter Douglas blinds that utilized a fabric that apparently was on back order from the manufacturer. Because of the backordered fabric, we did not get our blinds in the timeframe promised.  However, Scott kept us informed of the issues and even offered to let us order something else.  WE did not want to order any other kinds, so we decided to wait.  Even during this wait, Scott called periodically to keep us updated.  We were very pleased with this service

I contacted Artistic Windows to help  me update my window treatments and to decide what to do with my outdated and worn cushions in my breakfast nook.  Scott came to my house with an array of beautiful fabrics to pick from.  He helped me pick out fabrics that would complement my recently remodeled kitchen.  The shutters and blinds for the rest of the house came in a very timely manner and the workmen who came were friendly, professional, and efficient.  I was kept updated every few weeks on the status of the different items I had ordered.  My valences and draperies came next and were absolutely gorgeous and very well made.  The two chairs I had covered came third and they went from ugly white chairs to a beautiful match to my valences and pantry drapery.  Lastly I received my kitchen nook cushions and they are beautiful, comfortable, and fit perfectly.  The entire process from beginning to end took a couple of months and was well worth the wait.

I was having a hard time deciding who to call for new window treatments in my recently purchased condo. I have been taken a few times by vendors for other things the past few years since my husbands death. I finally broke down and joined Angies's List. I read all the reviews for everyone and decided to try Atristic Windows. Boy did I luck out! From the moment Scott answered the phone I knew I had picked the right company. I knew in my mind what I wanted, but didn't know if there was such a product or the name if there was. As soon as I started describing what I wanted, Scott knew exactly what I was talking about. I felt like I was talking with a friend the whole time. Scott and Eileen came to my home with samples of what I wanted, and other samples  just in case. I had Vertiglides installed on 3 sliding doors and matching honeycomb shades that open from the top or bottom on the two windows. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they came in different colors. I love color! White is not a color to me. Scott and Eileen measured and sent the order in right away. About 10 days later Adam, their installer came out to install. I thought it would be an all day job, but it was very quick and everything fit just perfect. Adam removed all the old verticals and cornice and took them to be disposed of. Everything works beautifully. I am pleased with the product and colors I chose. Everything looks so clean and sleek. A big difference from the 1980 verticals that were hanging and falling when I bought the condo. I would definitely call them again if I need window treatments. They have restored my faith in the business community. I wish every business could be like Artistic Windows.

I don't usually write comments on surveys or reviews, but when someone does a job well, I think it is nice to acknowledge it. From estimate to installation this was a pleasant experience. Scott and his assistant Eileen were very easy to work with. Unlike windows in my family room, hall and bedroom, my bathroom window doesn't have trim around it and it also has a granite sill that matches my tub deck. I was very concerned about how this window would look compared to the other windows. Scott listened to my concerns and came up with a solution that looked beautiful. After I make major purchases, I tend to second guess my choices, I have to say ALL of the windows exceeded my expectations. We are renovating the remaining rooms in our home and as soon as we are finished, I will be using Artistic Windows for window treatments in these rooms as well!
