They offered free removal of old cage in a week or two. 3 months later I had to remove it myself so roof could be installed. When work finally began they tried to NOT install a piece of super gutter saying it wasn't included (but they had delivered it to my house!) After much arguing they found notes on original quote and it WAS included. Then the office girls started hounding for final payment 2 days before it was completed. Both Sara and Nicole were VERY rude to my wife on the phone. To top it all off I had come home from golf on the second day of installation and 2 workers were SWIMMING in my pool! If you have any issues they will threaten to put a lien on your house instead of making the customer happy! DO NOT USE... very unprofessional!

I paid a lot of money and when I complained about the roof having some leaks it was very difficult to get anyone out to see it and when somebody did come out they could not find a problem

Horrible. Caught them using the wrong screen. Installer used smaller spline. Cannot get a reply from Anderson. Check for services had to be made out to owner. Had to pay an expert to have it redone! DO NOT USE!

Got pool house re-screened. They tried to put in an inferior screening. After pointing it out, they put in the phifer screening we had ordered but with a snotty attitude. Had to get them to correct defficiencies constantly. After a couple of months, screens were coming loose and ‘waving’ in the wind. Left a couple of phone messages and an email but no response. Now we are facing a total replacement after only 9months!! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO USE THIS COMPANY!!

We are thrilled with the quality of work performed. All permits and inspections were completed. Just an overall great job.

We are very dissatisfied customers! A job that should have taken a day and a half maximum lasted a week and a half due to poor workmanship by the installer and numerous deficiency corrections, some re-done several times (First attempt - wrong, cheaper screen, got caught. Second attempt - improper install, got caught, took pictures. Third attempt - improper re-install. There are still 3 screens that need to be replaced but after some of the antics of the installer, we will not have him out again and presently, we were told that they only have one installer. In the end, they dropped the price $50.00 . It is going to cost us $200.00 to $300.00 to have someone replace the 3 screens. Final finished product was poor. Easier to pay and move on! They are not capable of completing the job in a professional manner.

When I called Anderson Aluminum, spoke with Bill.  He was quite rude in speaking to me.  Informed me rudely that he would not be able to make it out to look at things and would call me back later that day.  That call never happened.

Not only was the cage built incorrectly but the concrete people really messed up.  The cage was not built according to the contracted plans.  The screening  was installed very poorly.  The screens started coming apart just months after the installation.  The screen door to exit the lanai was bowed and does not shut correctly.  When I called numerous time to have them come out and repair these issues I never received a call back.  My neighbors had them install their lanai too.  They had the same issues.  Anderson Aluminum would never call back and honor their warranty.
The WORST part for me was what the concrete people did.  I found out a year after the slab was poured that they had just broke off an irrigation pipe so they could dig the footings and pour the concrete.  I guess it got in their way so they just broke it off.  They didn't tell me about it or suggest I have it capped off, rerouted or anything.  I was at home during the entire process.  All they would have to do is knock on the door and showed me the problem  I would of had someone out there right away to take care of the issue.  The result of that error, water continued to run under the slab and washed away the dirt.  I had a very costly repair at that point. I was also received a violation notice from my Homeowner's association.  Now I have issues and no irrigation going to the other side of the lanai.  What a NIGHTMARE.  DO NOT HIRE ANDERSON ALUMINUM THEY ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY.  They can't be trusted and they DO NOT honor their warranties.

After calling around various places it was amazing how few are willing to make screens.  I guess its just not that profitable for them.  Anderson Aluminum were happy to do it, and were so pleasant to deal with.  I did the job in a couple stages, to make sure my measuring was right, and each time I went by they were more than pleasant.  And they had the screens done sooner than their estimate.  The price was very fair.  I wrote $200 above, though I can't remember the exact total - I think it was around there.  I had about 7 screens made in all.
Oh, AND on my last visit I saw a cat in a cage in a side office so asked if that was they office cat.  The man said that they have strays that live around the property, so they catch them and get them fixed, let them recuperate from the surgery in the office, then release them.  How wonderful is that?!  They've got my business for sure.  : )

They were excellent.  When they said they were going to be here, they were here right on the button and they did an excellent job.  The work looks really nice.

Eric Anderson was prompt with the estimate and called back to confirm the date. The two installers were very nice and completed the full rescreening on time. I had three estimates and Anderson was the best. They explained the differences between the types of screen and we settled on the pet screen for the lower section and standard 18/14 for the top sections and roof. Another company recommended a vinyl-laminated product for the roof area to keep out the rain but the same stated not for horizontal or roof applications! I would use them again. At another home, Anderson built a screen room 18 years ago, their service was very good at that time as well.

Update 1/23/11: A simple waterproofing tie-in between both roof systems solved the leaking problem that was present immediately after this work. This should have been a part of the original install in my opinion./ Existing enclosure leaked and was dated/worn. Anderson was engaged to remove old enclosure and had to do some minor roof repairs where enclosure butts against overhang/fascia. New enclosure was then installed. New enclosure leaked at fascia first rainfall (and every rainfall thereafter). Downspouts were not installed as discussed with owner. Overhang on sides were not as discussed with owner. Side overhangs were to be greater than on older enclosure but ended up shorter. Downspout hole in gutter was not cut correctly and easily clogs. Poor follow-up (my opinion) from owner after install regarding customer satisfaction. Call made to owner regarding my dissatisfaction and he stated he would get all issues resolved. These issues have not been resolved to date. At this point I am consulting a professional roofer at my expense. Overall I was not very happy with the quality of workmanship and am very dissatisfied with their lack of follow up and regard for customer satisfaction.
