They came quickly. They got the job done. They didn't do anything that I didn't think was necessary. I don't remember exactly what the price was but I know it wasn't expensive.

The repair person came, not first thing as he said, but 1pm the next day. The repair person came in moved the refrigerator and said it's your relay on the compressor. He said the compressor was excellent, but the relay was out and needed to be changed to prevent the random total defrost. It took him approximately 15 minutes to replace it with a part from his truck. He said the part plus labor was normally $300, but because he didn't arrive on time, he did the repair for $250. We gave him a check for that amount. He left our home and went right to our bank and cashed it. Not 48 hours later, the refrigerator again did a total defrost. This time we called a local company who listened to us explain the problem. Told us it was one of two things, the thermostat or the defrost timer. Within about 5 minutes, he diagnosed it as the thermostat. The part was replaced within an hour and it's working wonderfully. Before we called ECM, we tried on at least 10 occassions to no avail to call all the phone numbers listed on All American Appliance Repair's website. They all went to the same voice mail and no one answered it. We left many messages saying we had a problem and we wanted someone to come back and look at it. To this minute, we have yet to receive any contact whatsoever from them. They're a sham. I can't even find a local address for them, yet they serve our entire area. When I looked their company name up on the State of Florida's Department of Business Regulations' website, I found their location in Daytona Beach, FL, a city four hours north of us. They are pure sham artists. No one should deal with them again. We're out $250, not to mention the cost of the new thermostat. This kind of shoddy misrepresentation should never happen to anyone. Money is too valuable at this time to waste it on service companies like this one.
