We really like them. A couple of different times they had to come out and do some things with our air conditioner and they were good. We really like them. We thought they were just fair priced. I think there was just one person that came. We were happy with them. They did clean up behind themselves.

They're terrific. I would give them an "A" across the board. Antoine fixed it in about 10 minutes. They were professional, courteous, responsive, and I would recommend them to any neighbor. In fact, I already have. If Antoine didn't already have a mother, I would adopt him. He left the area spotless, he's knowledgeable, he's pleasant, he's terrific. We love him!

I was so pleased with his initial visit I ordered the maintenance deal. Having had another company do a maintenance 6 months ago I thought I knew what  to expect. I didn't. He cleaned every inch of the unit and when testing had state of the art digital equipment with the entire unit put together as he measured. Others have the unit covers off as they test and I now get this is inaccurate. During this process he discovered the culprit to the on and off again issues that have been going on for 6 months, a capacitor was failing that affected the blower.

When he returned to replace the failed emergency strips he discovered they had burnt up because of a short in the system and also corrected that. 

So despite wanting to have him just replace the unit - twice - he managed to find what no one else had and I have been in a wonderfully temperature controlled home ever since.

Antoine is the man! Polite, knowledgeable and communicates everything that is going on.

I used them yesterday to fix my air conditioner after it went out. 

First, provided a detailed overview of my system as we had another company tell us that we would need to replace our system to correct the loud noise that it put off.  Ended up being an imbalance in the airflow  from when the house was built.  We ended up adding 3 additional returns which resulted in a quieter, more efficient system that greatly increased the air temperature in the house.  
Second, the damper was added and now you can't even tell when the unit is on and it has resulted in more equal airflow to the other parts of the house.  
Third, our air filters are a pain to replace on the ceiling, so we changed it so that we only have to replace one filter near the handler every few years.  
Finally, topped off our refrigerant and the house was ready for the summer.  
We now recommend Airmen to all of our friends due to their friendliness, professionalism, and finally someone we can trust in this field.

It went great.  The entire unit had shut down.  I called a couple of other service companies and they had tried to sell me whole new air conditioner units for several thousand dollars. Luckily a friend told about the Air Men company.  They came and found the problem and said that I would only need a part replacement and not the whole unit. They actually took pictures of the damaged part and showed them to me before I made my decision to have them make the repairs. I am SO glad I found these people.

I chose the $169 Angies List offer because I'd never had a detailed inspection of my A/C system.

Antoine was exactly on time. When I opened the door, he'd already laid out his 6' red carpet outside the door and had his carpet protectors on his shoes.

He explained in detail what he was going to do. Everything from the outside unit to the inside unit to the ducts in the (very hot) attic. He took detailed notes of his findings. After he was done, he told me the *possible* problems my system might have in the future, but didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need now. How refreshing!

The only problem with my system was the UV light in the plenum had burned out. He couldn't test to see if the ballast or the transformer for the UV light were good because the light was burned out. He left and brought back a light, a ballast, and a transformer. When he installed the new light, it worked. So, he didn't charge for the transformer or ballast.

UV plenum lights are ridiculously expensive, but the $100 credit that went with the Angies List deal helped ease the pain.

I can sum up my experience with Airmen in two words: meticulous and honest.

Actually, I might have to raise the bar on my ratings of other companies based on my experience with AirMen.

They did the work and it was pretty quick. They didn't charge us a diagnostic fee and they gave us a $76 discount overall.

It went extremely well.  The technician was knowledgeable and didn't pressure me to purchase additional services/work.  Very prompt and tidy.  I will definitely continue to use these guys for future work!

The compressor located in the garage suddenly started making a loud grinding noise whenever the air conditioner was turned on. We called another company and were told a technician couldn't respond to our service request until Saturday -- four days later. We then called Airmen located near our subdivision, and the service technician responded that same day. He completed all the work, replaced two capacitors and tightened the blower cage to the motor. Because work was performed, the $79 diagnostic fee was waived. We were also given an additional $76 discount, so the entire job came to just $337. We were very pleased with the work performed and with the courteous professionalism of the technician, and would recommend this company.
