Antique and Jewelry Appraisal
He told me the necklace was 14 karat gold, but it was actually 21 karat gold. He appraised my necklace for $80, but the next place we went appraised it for $800. He appraised everything for $1100, but the next placed appraised it for $3000. I realized that this was way too low of an appraisal, so when I rejected his first offer, he told me he'd pay $1500 but nothing more. I knew then that he wasn't being honest.
